Never again
I was stupid enough to stay in this hotel when I had other options. Bed is really small, room smells really bad.

Stay away from this place
I stayed with Hotel Annapurna for 3 weeks during my business trip in Nepal. Rooms are very worn down. It smells bad and bathrooms seems leaking all over. They are taking their location for granted. Never again with this hotel. As I was staying with them for 3 weeks, I requested for late check out, but one of the staff told me she would allow late check out only if I was ready to pay 50% of the chargea

A good option
If you are looking for the following 1. Good location. It's near the Thamel district, within walking distance and there are plenty of eating places nearby 2. Access. The roads leading to the hotel is wide as there are a lot of narrow roads like those in Thamel which could be a problem for cars to access especially during raining days. Something one might consider. 3. Facilities. Most facility one would expect in a hotel like pool, gym, F&B. Gym is a bit small and under-equipped, otherwise doable. Only downside i would mention here is the internet speed is slow by international standard but otherwise i would think it's normal by local standards. I hope it would be upgraded to fibre connectivity rather than through a local wifi service provider. Overall, a good option for business traveller.

Needs updating.
The staff was quite friendly and courteous. My room though had soiled furniture, smelled like new paint, the TV did not work, and workmen started pounding and using power tools at 6:30am. Not a great stay.

Bad air and bed bugs
Unfortunately I had to turn the Air Con off as it made me cough during the night. The outside air Psi was around 300. I also kept being bitten in the bed so it must be a bed bug problem.

Nice Hotel. But bed's & ac quality is very poor.
Good location. Nice swimming pool. Good security ans gate men.
My short stay was good at de l' Annapurna. But bed was not comfortable for me. I think springs are very old and not updated. Front office people are not so good and there IQ label is very poor. They don't know where is the best movie hall. That don't take our request smiley. At the end this is an average service 5* Hotel.
