Worth every penny.”
The rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The locality was perfect for us, as we love the Khousan area, only a ten-minute walk. The swimming pool is a good extra, and last but not least the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Great variety to please everyone. We booked again on our return to Bangkok for our last few nights in Thailand.

Good for long stays and near to tourist spots”
My mom and dad stayed at the hotel for a week for a UN conference. They had daily shuttle to the UN office and are near to tourist locations. They love the food at the hotel restaurant. Though it's actually an old hotel, the facilities are okay and in good condition.

This hotel was very near the UNCC. It took about 10 minutes to walk from hotel to UNCC. Also hotel staff was kind.

Another lovely stay”
Pros: staff as always were lovely this stay. Everybody from the lady who cooks the eggs to the door staff made you feel welcome. Location great with good street food 5 mins walk away behind the temple opposite and lots of things to see a walk or short taxi ride away. Pool great and lovely to be surrounded by trees rather than roof top! Breakfast has plenty of choice and served until quite late. Cons: hotel a bit dated and slightly tatty in places but we’ve stayed in far posher places and not felt as welcome. This was probably our 6th stay and even though we’ve tried other hotels we keep coming back. Complementary tuktuk to Khao San road also great.

Staying at DeMoc Hotel since 15 years every time while in Bangkok. Again & again. Need I say more ? Close to Khaosan Rd and other, like shops, restaurants etc. One downside during May 2019 though: the bar & beer garden was shut. Other than that, everything good as always. Staff remembers us and makes us feel welcome & at home.

Old hotel but comfortable stay”
I love the hotel because it serve nice buffet breakfast, a relaxing swimming pool, near to alot of amenities and food. Its old but I really dont mind. Just outside the hotel (leftside of entrance) you can find: - barber/hairdresser shops - noodle shop - coffee shop - a bicycle rental shop Opposite street of hotel, you can find: - kitty cafe (charge/spend 100b per person) - massage place (charge thaimassage 200b per hr) - a nice food restaurant at the corner - walk across the temple, there is a laundry place opposite a hostel ( charge 40b per kilo) Walking distance 15mins to Khaosan area. Cheers.

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for almost a week. The location is very near to tourist spots and malls. Their breakfast is okay and their food at the restaurant tastes good as well. Definitely a recommended place to stay in Bangkok.

All right for a couple of nights”
The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and orderly. WiFi worked everywhere, the pool was nice and deep. The only issue was plumbing - the toilet was clogged once (to their credit, it was fixed in a matter of minutes), and the shower didn’t really have hot water, just tepid. That wasn’t great. The location is all right, you’d want to walk about 10 minutes to anything really. Hotel staff were fantastic
