The best thing is the size of the room is absolutely large and spacious, with a good balcony.
I like coming during the low season, and I feel like I have the entire hotel to myself.
I also like the sauna.
Really enjoyed my stay here.
The thermal pool is pretty amazing, and it's nice that they offer it for no extra charge because the main swimming pool is under repair.

Hotel de Sterrenberg is located 450 metres from the entrance of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. It has an indoor swimming pool and fitness free to use for all hotel guests. The rooms are modern and recently renovated. Each room has a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi access, minibar, bathrobe, coffee and tea facilities and a private bathroom. Restaurant Cèpes serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can unwind in the wellness area with a heated swimming pool with bubbles and jets, sauna and steam bath. Entrance can be arranged at the front office. The famous Kröller Müller Museum is 2.5 km away from Sterrenberg. Arnhem can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Parking is free of charge.

This hotel is my secret Batcave where I will go retreat to when I need a bit of time and space for myself to gather my thoughts. Nice hotel but with a few flaws”
Fantastic was the coffee machine in the public area, where you could enjoy espresso/coffee/cappuccino as much as you like. The restaurant was slightly expensive but fine. Few other options around to have dinner. The room was partly refurbished but would benefit from further improvement. This certainly was the case for the lobby/reception, too, which gave a somewhat outworn impression. The clientele consisted almost exclusively of older people, which made us (both just turned 30) sometimes feel a bit out of place. The pool with its mixed dressing room was disappointing.

Mooi gelegen en super restaurant, kamers erg basic”
Heerlijk hotel vanwaar je mooie wandelingen kunt maken op de Veluwe. Lobby en benedenverdieping erg leuk, ook gezellige spelletjeshoek op de eerste verdieping. de kamer vond ik erg basic voor hetgeen wij betaalden. Het verduisteringsgordijn bedekte bijvoorbeeld niet het hele raam (gek genoeg), klein bed en afstandbediening van de tv had lege batterij. dat laatste is gene ramp maar al met al niet zo netjes. Het restaurant maakt echter ALLES goed: fantastisch gegeten, goede service, leuke sfeer. Als de kamers een beetje worden 'opgepimpt'klopt echt alles.
