Charming & Perfect Location”
Charming, older smaller hotel - other complained about shabbiness, I found it rather charming - yes we had a stain on the carpet, but the decor suited the age of the hotel - all staff that we interacted with were most helpful & you walk around the corner & you’re on the champs élysées beside the arc de triomphe - met all our needs
I stayed in an executive room for 2 nights. I found the room small for an executive room and the carpet was stained. For a 5 star hotel I had to carry own bag to my room. On the plus side the location is great and saved a lot on taxis. The is a metro station close by which we found great and definitely the best way to travel around Paris
Generally OK with no complains. The hotel location is central and close to the metro. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay at this hotel again.
Excellent weekend break in Paris”
Great location, 2 mins to Arc De Triomphe. Staff very helpful and great service
Deeply dissappointing experience. This is not a 5* hotel. ”
This is not a 5 star hotel. The pictures in Agoda are misleading. I paid for a deluxe room, but it was nothing like in the pictures. Mediocre standard room, with old broken furniture, that was supposed to be "antique". The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable-the two mattresses were visibly old and run down. The room was not sound-proof, as advertised, but I constantly heard the noise from outside, worse of all - there was a constant screeching from the pipes in the walls, which didn't let me sleep. The bathroom - the main showerhead was positioned on the height of my shoulders, so I could not take a proper shower - this hotel discriminates against tall people (and I'm 1,91cm, which is not that extremely tall). Moreover, said showerhead was broken, so it would start spilling water all over the bathroom, making everything wet. The faucets were also faulty - you can't just turn them and the water starts to flow smoothly - it's either pouring or not at all. My room was not cleaned, even though I put the sign on the door. It was not vacuumed, nor the sheets were changed. There are no coffee or tea making facilities. The elevator was old and run down, decorative elements protruding from its walls. The staff was cold and unsmiling, bordering on hostile. This hotel does not provide 5 start facilities or 5 star luxury. The only things I did like - the room was spacious for Paris, the toiletries from The White Company, the bathtub and the spacious wardrobe. I chose it on Agoda, because I wanted to pamper myself with some Parisian luxury experience, but all I got was mediocre, bad-managed motel. I paid 400 euros for 2 days, but I feel I was robed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!
Though hotel is quite old, well maintained and clean. Location is perfect
next time to same hotel nice location and smiling staff.
Location was great and price was not bad but the elevator was not working during my stay
Superb location, Terrible room”
Location was perfect. Fancy building. Staff was alright. But we need to talk about the ROOM. I cannot believe i stayed there for 2 days. We entered room and it was full of VOMIT smell literally. Vomit stain was clearly all over the carpet and we could not breathe the air in the room. We went down to reception for room change and receptionist said we would get new one the day after. So we had to put up with that VOMIT room on first day. The day after we went to reception asking for new room and instead we were offered with "CLEANING ROOM SERVICE" at the same room. WHAT THE HECK ON THE EARTH. Speechless. I AM NOT COMING BACK EVER.
Not a five star hotel”
Don't believe the five starts they say they have, the mattresses are awful and it's not that clean. The staff is rather friendly, that's a big plus. The location is ok, next to The Arc the Triomphe, it's stunning. Just the rooms are old and in need of redecoration. Clean the carpet, the bathroom en get new beds is my suggestion and take care of the WIFI while you are at it.
Just find another hotel.”
The rooms are not similar to picture. The room was dirty and the bathroom. I chose this hotel for car parking but when I arrived they told me that the parking is not working and I need to park in the public parking.
How can this be a 5-star hotel”
First of, the hotel elevator broke down upon our arrival and we were stuck inside for a while. And because of the elevator issue, it took a long time for the luggage to reach our room. 2nd, the room was smelly and uncomfortable. There was smell of cigarette in the room and in the lobby. And the amenities in the room were simply not up to standard with a 5-star hotel. All in all, a terrible experience and one I would definitely not recommend.
the window did close i called the staff and they couldn't close it, and they didn't even proposed me to change room. the service is really poor, i asked them to make my room multiple times and they didn't and they event came up with an excuse and said that the cleaner was sick do you find that normal as if there is only one cleaner. the loby looks like an old hous there is most of the time one person and your not even alowed to invite a friend in your room because of security. i have never seen a 5 stars hotel that is that bad in my life for me 3 stars wolud even be to much for this hotel.
Very good location and nice staff
location, clean and service
Not a 5 Star”
