There is no parking space at all!! Infant d lane to this hotel is soo narrow that only very small cars like alto or 800 can reach to this place.. however the hotel provides their small vehicle to bring their guests. It's still a pain wen u r tired travelling.

Worst hotel I stayed in my life”
To get access to the hotel, you must climb a steep slope of about 100 meters. So with your luggage, good luck !!!! And to get access to your room, you must again go up and down the steep stairway. if you need some service from the staff, don't think about using the phone, it doesn't work. Neither the TV or the wifi(the wifi works only in the reception). Several times, I have to climb the stairway to ask for the toilet roll or soap. One morning, I found excrements in the stairway and the Manager said that it is excrements of the monkeys. I recommend NOT to stay in this hotel

Would not put my dog there!”
after having traveled to India about 20 times, this was our Worst experience ever! Without going into details, the bathroom still contained the toilet paper of the previous guests. The shower had not been cleaned in a long time, used soap with soap wrapper swimming in the drain. The staff made 8 attempts to provide a pillow without mould or blood stains. We skipped breakfast which was served in a smelly room off the reception which most probably saved us a trip to the hospital.

Hotel Deodar Villa”
Location, Location and Friendly Staff.
Hotel Deodar Villa has an exceptional but not easily accessible location. A steep hill climbing is required to access the hotel. Once at hotel guests are required to climb up and down steep stairs to get to and from the rooms. They have only three or four rooms at the street level. The view from the property is exceptional and if you are not going to go any where and just stay at your room, this is the perfect place. However, either you need to be in good health and willing to exercise or ready to spend for local taxi service to get to the hotel and it's facilities. The rooms have very basic facilities and I would like some more furnishings in the rooms.

Fantastic for a weekend getaway from New Delhi”

A quick tip for people who want to drive into McleodGanj using their own car (without a driver), make sure you confirm that your hotel as parking space. Thankfully Deodar Villa has an arrangement with the temple management for using their parking space which is complimentary for it guests. its located very a stones-throw distance from the HH Dalai lama temple and very close to the main market. The local taxi stand is also within shouting distance. Though driving in McLeodganj is not recommended, ever spot is walkable/trekable.

Una vista maravillosa y un personal que si bien no habla español, fue de lo más amable .”
Hay que subir a pie bastante, pero la vista merece la pena, hay una terraza agradable para disfrutar , el tamaño de las habitaciones es amplio y el agua caliente para una buena ducha. Además el personal es extraordinario, estuvimos ora Dawali y hasta nos dieron dulces de regalo y los mejores deseos.
