Comfortable and convenient”

The tiny, claustrophobic life took me up to the top floor where my room felt uncomfortably hot. But once I opened the windows it cooled down nicely, and I passed a very comfortable night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is in a busy part of Paris but the location and price were both good. I would stay here again.

As you can tell by the title we only stayed one night due to the purpose of our trip. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating with us allowing us to check in early. The room itself seemed a little old fashioned but it suited the purpose of giving us a comfortable nights sleep and was easy to get to other parts of Paris from there.

this is a shabby, 'down at heel' establishment badly in need of renovation. our room had water damaged walls, a hole in the ceiling and smelled musty. the shower room was in a similar condition and basic, although the shower was powerful and hot. room lighting was dim and dismal and the communal areas were also very tired. we overlooked the main road which was very noisy- hardly surprising in a city hotel that, though. on the other hand, it is easily reached by metro from gare du nord (our point of arrival in paris), convenient by taxi for gare de lyon (our departure station) and we were able to explore much of st germain on foot, hike along the river to central paris, visit the louvre, champs elysees and arc de triomphe in our two day stay. there is, too, a wealth of places around the area to eat and drink, with shops and a supermarket nearby.

Medium quality hotel”

The furniture is old and old fashioned, but the staff maintain a satisfying state of cleaness and order. Anyway, you are in Paris to visit and know the big city, to mingle among the people, to feel the street pulse, so the hotel is less important. The bed is confortable so you can sleep well, that is all it matters. Be carefull to level yourself with the hotel management all the financial issues at the arrival! I had the big surprise on the departure morning (6,45 am) they tried to make pay once again. So, this is a good hotel for the money spent, but be carefull at the financial issues.

Room need to upgrade, they are some good room and some old furniture. . Just try your luck for better room..

Old buiding with bad smell. Heating system is zero, the room size is good enough. The bed doesn’t comfy to have good sleep.

La chambre n’est pas très propre mais la literie est bonne. prévoir des boules quies car l’hôtel est bruyant (portes qui claquent toute la nuit, bruit des télés des autres chambres, l’isolation phonique est à revoir)
