Great value, great location, great breakfast, older room”
My wife and I stayed our first night in Italy at the Hotel Diana Roof Garden. The location is great, very close to Termini station (5-10 minute walk). The room was available despite arriving at 11am. The room was a bit dated, the bathroom small. Shower was very small. Room itself was larger but had a very hard bed. Room was clean. Highlight of the hotel was the breakfast, which occurs in a room on the top floor. You can eat there or go outside by going up the stairs. Beautiful place to eat breakfast but can be cold during the winter months. I found the hotel to be a very good value despite the room being a bit dated, the bed being very hard, and the bathroom being very small. The location, breakfast, price, and service by the staff would cause us to go back if we visit Rome again in the future.

The Best!”
Hotel Diana Roma Rooftop Garden is THE BEST hotel, ever. When I first arrived in Rome, this is the first hotel which I stayed in, for 4 nights. I wanted to extend my stay here, but they were fully-booked so I had to leave. The views from the rooftop garden of this hotel are simply breathtaking. And that makes up for the not-so-impressive views from some of the bedroom windows. Who cares when you can go up to the rooftop and look over Rome, anyway? The flowers on the rooftop garden smell like perfume. The first time I walked up there, I wondered who's expensive perfume was filling up the environment. Then I realized it was the beautiful flowers! There is a viewing "tower" in the garden which you can climb up (a spiral staircase) and look over the rooftops of Rome! It's beautiful! Belissima! The staff of this hotel has become like my family, really. If you strike up a conversation with any of the staff working on the rooftop garden, you will quickly find a new family member! I love all the staff at Hotel Diana Roma so much, that I honestly missed everyone, when I left! And that's why I wanted to extend, in the first place! For my last days in Italy, I came back to Rome and stayed here again. I got to say goodbye to everyone, and I'm so happy that I did! The rooms are of excellent standard, and you can connect your laptop to the cable wire of the t.v. and you can use their internet connection from there, or if you don't have a laptop, you can use your t.v. to connect to the internet. Flat-screen t.v. You can figure out how to do everything by taking a look at the remote control. The buffet breakfast is a real treat, and all throughout the day you can order food and wine that you like. At nighttime, seagulls float over the rooftop garden like white paper planes with bells attached to them. It's beautiful. A beautiful experience. 100%.

Great Place to See Rome”
I stayed at Hotel Diana Roof Garden for three nights and used it s a base to explore parts of Rome. Great location and very convenient for Termini. If you enjoy walking most of the main sights are within strolling distance. Also in the streets surrounding are many good restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes. The morning breakfast was large and varied and a good way to begin the day for touring around Roma.

Top little hotel”
This hotel is basic, clean and reasonably comfortable. The 4 star rating is misleading and probably determined after a nights hard drinking as it bears no similarity to any other multi star hotel I've stayed at. However, that said, I recommend this place and will return there on my next Rome visit for two things. Firstly, it is located within a few minutes walk from Termini, the central transport hub. From here you can get a bus, metro, or tram to most parts of the city...in fact from here you can walk to many of the major attractions. Secondly, the included breakfast is served on the roof garden area (hence the name) with views over much of Rome...heavenly!! Actually one more thing to recommend this hotel...you can open the window for some real air and smell of the city!

Convenient location, great value, spacious”
We have stayed in a few hotels in Rome and Hotel Diana was by far the best. The room was more spacious than any other European hotel room I've seen. The breakfast was an Italian feast in their lovely rooftop dining area. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, providing great restaurant recommendations. It is close to Termini Station and the metro, making it convenient for anyone flying into/out of FCO, cruising out of Civitavecchia or just exploring Rome.

Lovely Hotel”
I found the Hotel to be in a great location and the room to be big and comfortable. Breakfast was good too for Rome. I have stayed at this Hotel 3 times and I would highly recommend any one to stay at this Hotel. Some good pointers is that just around the corner you can dine a some good restaurants, and should you want a good coffee and fresh orange juice and open market every morning there is a few near by.I will visit Hotel Diana in 3 weeks for the January sales, I'm looking forward to staying at this Hotel. In short. Hotel Diana is an excellent choice for those who want a great location, clean and spacious room, and a nice breakfast. Have fun !!!!

Nice Place!”
Was a little hesitant about booking Hotel Diana when I read about some of the terrible reviews. But am glad I booked it! The location was good being close (about 5mins walk) from the Rome Termini. Were greeted with friendly staff at the check in. Went up the elevator which fitted 4 of us with 4 pieces of large luggage.(Some reviewers feedback it was too small, but I've been in extreme small ones, where it would only fit 4 luggage stacked up without the humans in it.) Pleasantly surprise by the quad room, was spacious. The bathroom was huge and very elderly friendly- emergency bell near the bathtub. Staff was also helpful when we had problem logging into the wifi. Only minus point, tend lose wifi signal in some parts of the room. Breakfast was sufficient, but do not expect a huge continental buffet. Staff at breakfast area were friendly, and even offered to help us take photos in the lovely rooftop garden. Would stay there again!

Positively excellent ”
This lovely hotel is a gem. Located extremely close to the central railway station (Roma Termini) we love staying here. For the second time in two years we were warmly welcomed by the same two gentlemen. Makes such a difference... The roof top garden restaurant is glorious. Minimum rate rooms very small but others are good. We will be back again and again.

Many thanks for your positive review Kindest Regards
Good location ”
From Termini St. , it takes only 5 minutes even for a slow walker like me. Easy to find and has a great breakfast. Their roof garden is AWESOME! There are a good, friendly restaurant and a nice glass shop right in front. Not fancy room, but clean and cozy. The air conditioning was a bit weak, though. I would like to stay there again for my next trip to Rome. For one thing, there is only one slow elevator to share in the busy morning.

Good value if not spening much time in the room”
The location is central 2 blks from the Termini, but the airport is a 35 minute drive w/o traffic. We had to switch rooms 3 times in a 24 hour stay. first room 108 AC did not work. second room, 605 we could hear everthing in the ajoining room. 3rd room 602 was fine. Shower is functional but tiny. Staff was very accomodating on the moves. There is a small frig in all the rooms we saw. The roof top garden is very nice, but a bit expensive. 7.50 euros for a draft beer, but the gin they make at the hotel is very interesting. grocery store 1 block away that has everything you need. if you get the breakfast package note it starts at 7:00. We left at 6:30 for the airport so do not know how the breakfast is. If you forgot your converter they will lend you one for a 5 euro deposit..

Great stay”
Good location in the heart of Rome. Good breakfast on the Roof Top Garden with a great view of downtown Rome. Hotel gave us each a free bottle of water each day, and, per room, a free coke, bag of chips and cookies - a great treat given the high heat of Rome during our visit. Good stay!

Nice hotel with wonderful roof top terrace. Clean rooms, free water provided every day in minibar. ”
Decent size twin room with air con (a must in the summer). The roof top terrace is fabulous, we had breakfast there and drinks in the evening. Cash point machine (ATM) in reception. Good location, walk to Termini station for metro and train connections. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Cons are that our room looked out onto another building and straight into the window opposite and the price of drinks in the rooftop terrace; otherwise fabulous place.

Comfortable hotel and good location”
We stayed here for 4 nights. Although the room was fairly small it was comfortable and very clean. The mini bar was regularly stocked with water which was nice. The breakfast was plenty and sitting in the roof garden for breakfast or in the evening was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. For us, the location was perfect as we wanted to be close to the station.

Easter Holiday 2019”
We were two couples travelling together. We had two ajoining double rooms on the 6th floor, with balconies. One pair were smokers, so the balcony came in handy. The rooms were very nice, not extravagante but very nice and clean. Good wifi connection. The breakfast Rom is on the top floor and the choice is definitely above average. The Roof Top Garden is really beautiful and cosy with lots of flowers and a very good view. A wonderful place to meet and have a drink or a glass of wine before going out for dinner. All in all a very pleasant surprise. We would definitely reccomend this hotel and will probably return again. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good location for train station and hop on and off buses. No so good if you dont want to walk much.”
The hotel is clean and well kept and the rooms that come in various sizes were good. Our friend were given a change the following day when they the saw of our room. If you are someone with a fuller figure you might struggle to squeeze under the shower in their rather narrow baths. The machine coffee and alcoholic drinks served in the roof garden are expensive. If you are thirsty, the shop across the road has the equivalent for less than half the price. Breakfast is served on the 7th floor and although the selection was pretty good, it was always very busy. An annoyance more than a problem was having to wait to go up or down in their single lift. For a short visit to Rome its probably as good as you will get. Finally don't forget to add on those dreaded city taxes at 6 euros per person per night.

Short visit to Rome”
The hotel was very adequate for a short stay in Rome. Location was an easy walk to the train station with baggage. Good restaurants nearby. Easy access to bus or metro. Within walking distance to Colosseum. The staff was good, front desk was very helpful with requests. Internet was good. Room was small but comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast was adequate. Roof garden area is quite nice, and a great place for breakfast or a drink. My only complaint is with a room facing the alley, there are restaurant supply deliveries at 4 - 5 am which are noisy but then the noise stops. It was a good base for a sightseeing trip and I would use it again.

Room size different to photo show when booking”
The Hotel is in a great location close to everything. The roof top garden is fabulous and wide verity of drinks, and staff are really nice. However we booked a standard double and the picture showed a decent size room, but our room looks like a single room and we can barely move around. Very disappointed as we can't hang out and relax there and only one tiny window and its pretty dark.

Good Location!”
Nice hotel that's very near Termini and the Metro. I came via Terravision bus from Ciampino and having the hotel nearby helped. The room is small BUT it's comparable to room sizes in Singapore or Hong Kong and is really forgiveable. Important thing is that the room is clean, there are towels and the basic toiletries available as well as a free bar. Breakfast has enough spread and choice. The staff were helpful especially Nino at the front desk! I will definitely consider this hotel again if I come back.

Close to Termini, nice quality hotel”
The inside of the room was quite nice, with quality furniture and bathroom appliances. We had an interior room with no view except to the center of the hotel. That was a bit of a surprise for the price we paid. Dinner that night was good, but a little pricey. Rooftop terrace was nice, although on the small side for a hotel with well over 100 rooms. Breakfast in the morning was mobbed. The staff couldn't keep up and there was almost no place to sit. About a 5 minute walk to Termini station. Not much around there until you walk 15 minutes.
