Cramped, shoddy, unfriendly & rude”
This is a bad hotel. The room was tiny, and the bed the worst you could ever sleep on - so hard I was in agony all night. The staff are rude, and check on you, and are judgemental. I got a fairly cheap deal, but it was not worth it for this cheap, tiny, uncomfortable room with rude staff. Stay away

nice hotel in convenient location”
The Hotel du Leman is 1 block away from the Folies Bergere, so access to tourist attractions and public transportation is easy. Our standard room had a very comfortable bed and pillows as well as a nice shower. The room itself was a bit compact, but we managed without complications because we had small suitcases (by the way, the lift is also quite small). We enjoyed the flat-screen TV with international programming and appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea. The room had a refrigerator mini-bar and safety-deposit box, and we liked the bathroom amenities. We had requested early check-in and our room was not ready when we arrived, so staff at reception stored our luggage until later. All staff members with whom we interacted were courteous and professional, and overall we were very pleased with our choice. We will consider this property again for future trips to Paris!

Value for money and helpful frontdesk”
the frontdesk lady was very helpful with directions and taxi arrangement and was very friendly too. the hotel is quite clean and it is not far from metro station. surrounded by many cafe and not hard to get around. room was a little bit small but it is pretty normal in paris. will come back if i ever visit paris again.

Had a good 3-night stay. Location was good, easy to navigate and walk to public transport. Hotel lobby was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. A small lift had been installed, especially important for those with heavy luggages. The double room was small but well-furnished. Quite clean and daily room service. Simple tea and coffee provided. However, no blanket was provided, may be it was summer. A tower fan was provided but too short. No toothbrush and toothpaste (just like many hotels in Europe). Window was facing the back alley, thus no privacy. Overall, had a good stay. Value for money.

There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. Some people might think that the lift is too small but I was OK with it. It just fits two people or one person and luggage.

Extremely tiny suites, even the elevator can only fit 2 people or 1 person + luggage. Although not sure if this is the norm in Paris. The room walls are also thin so you can easily hear the neighbors if they're loud.

We were arranged on the top floor, it was quiet sultry in the room during summer, being no air-conditioning, they provided a standing fan to us, but at the mid-night, it became cold and easily to get flu.

Cheapest in city center”
I am just stay one night for business meeting, so I don't care the facility and luxury. Just for the location and this hotel is the best, where it locates in the 9th district. I care about the money, this hotel is the cheapest in the city center. Not clean, it's loud outside, and a bit out of date. But the staff is friendly and nice. I would stay here again for saving money and convenient transpotation.

The hotel is not far from the Garnier Palais. There are many restaurants nearby. Wifi was decent. Unfortunately the room size is not bigger than my bathroom and the toilet size equals to the airplane toilets. No shower curtain. You cannot turn the ac on or off they do it from downstairs. Room service doesn’t change your bedsheets and blanket cover. Fridge didn’t work.

The first staff to greet us and who was there most of the the was kind and helpful, unfortunately the positives stop there. The room was not what was pictured. The place smelt of sewage, when we called to ask and make sure the sink water was drinkable we were told that was normal, the evening reception was abrupt but this could have been a language barrier. The room we were in clearly had water damage that was not well repaired. There was mold on the ceiling and our shower curtain. We had to wear our socks at all times as the floor was really dusty. The room is cramped, but that is normal for Paris. Not sure if the other rooms are in better shape but our very much needed to be updated. It was a very poor experience compared to other hotels we stayed at for a similar price.
