The Best Place to Stay in Guwahati
Both in terms of location and service, especially the friendly and hard working staffs, this can be the best place to stay in Guwahati.

The best place to stay in Guwahati
Location, service, food
Both in terms of location and service, it can be the best place to stay in Guwahati. Its central location makes it easy to roam around the major places in Guwahati. The working ethics of employees is quite high standard. The restaurant also offers good Chines, North Indian and local Assamese food.

A modest hotel in the busy town of Guwahati
Room, staffs, food
Hotel Dynasty is one of the better hotel in Guwahati. For the price, its considered on the pricey range. One whose pricing is comparable to that of 4-5 stars hotel in Mumbai. The staffs are fast and highly responsive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although the breakfast doesn't offer too much selection, the food are delicious.

Comfortable
Comfortable, Near the main city center and good food
It was a comfortable stay. Its a business hotel and located in Pan Bazaar which gets crowded during day time so exit and entry is a problem.

die nasty. Avoid this overpriced place
their breakfast was OK, hard to find much else to be positive about
Based on the reviews and a reco by a "friend" I stayed here for 1 night, after flying in from the US. After the long flight I was hoping to get a good rest. Overlooked the musty 7th floor room, with dirty carpets. Hand soap had already been used and then put back in the paper box, Used hand towel still hanging. Had requested a non-smoking room and discovered acrid cigarette smoke after checking in. Was told by the receptionist that they have no non-smoking rooms -- all rooms are smoking. They have central air so you cannot escape the cigarette smoke. Popped an antihistamine pill and tried to sleep Had pretty low expectations after all this, but it gets worse. People milling about in the hallway playing loud music, banging on doors till after midnight Gave up, tried the internet to check email. The wifi goes in and out. Finally fell asleep At 4 am was shocked out of bed by a loud continuous noise. Thought at first that it was an alarm that someone had set and left on. Flailed about trying to find it until I realized that it was a loudspeaker from a mosque and the morning prayer. About 5 mins later, another one joined in and both went for about 30 mins. Hence this review at this ungodly hour. The street is highly congested and the setting is not attractive. No redeeming values at all, and this was by far the most expensive of the higher rated hotels in tripadvisor for Guwahati. No way does this qualify as a 3 or 4 star experience that is advertised.

Central location, Excellent breakfast, Dated look!
Central location, excellent breakfast!
I am based in the USA and was traveling with my family based in India. We stayed in two rooms there one night on our way to Shillong in mid November 2012. There was an infant with us as well. The hotel is centrally located in a busy bazaar. So the location can be great or horrible depending on your preference. We needed some medicines and pharmacy was next door. The hotel has a lovely entrance and a nice lobby. We were on the third floor and the two rooms we occupied were fairly quiet. The carpets are quite old and need to be changed. The look is very dated in the rooms. The TV was an old model with horrible reception. The complimentary breakfast had multiple items and was excellent. The dinner in the Indian restaurant inside the hotel was excellent. The restaurants has original Indian murals and a nice ambiance. The customer service was fine. The staff had a tendency to stand in large numbers near the entrance, blocking the gates. We needed a Toyota Innova car and theirs was overpriced but they were kind enough to tell us that we could book out own from tge bazaar which turned out to be cheaper. Overall, I would give the hotel a four on a scale of one to five. It is like an oasis in Guhawati. It could be better if they change the musty carpets.
