Prime location next to the Port!”
I really enjoyed my one night stay at the Hotel East China Sea. Clean facilities (a little dated), location is prime (5 mins walk from the port), many eateries. The morning view from the hotel is very nice! Beds are comfortable.

Great value”
Moved to this hotel after an unpleasant stay at a nearby hotel. Hotel East China Sea is a little bit older, but it has nice, big rooms with balcony views of the ocean and port. Good location for restaurants and shopping with paid city parking next door. An affordable price for a nice stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Good thing that all rooms have the balcony with the bay view. I haven't tried breakfast, it was a little expensive (1500 yen). Rooms are clean, two minutes from bus station and ferry port.

Relax”
Good view although we lived on the 5th floor, just very noisy from the ferry where busy operation from 7am to 3 pm. Staff are nice and helpful, check in at 2pm and check out at 11am, rare in Japan. Bed is a bit hard and pillow is a bit flat but not bad to a good sleep. Recommend this hotel although it is really old, still perfectly maintained. Toilet clean and standard, with good water pressure. No USB charging is provided, so you have to bring adapter.

The location is great. Just 10 mins walk from pier and bus station. The room is a bit small but acceptable. Nice view from the hotel and its restaurant. The breakfast, though not providing great variety of choices, were good enough. A nice stay there.

It is a a few minutes' walk from the ferry terminal. The view from my room is the nice harbour. The service is friendly.

A nice, good location hotel”
every room has balcony, our room on 12/F, which facing the Magnificat Ocean View. However, its a bit rare that the lift is outside the reception counter.

Great base for Ishigaki and Yaeyama Islands”
We stayed two nights. After a long flight it was easy to get to on the airport bus . Because it is only 5 minutes walk from the bus and ferry terminal it makes it a great base to explore from. You are very close to many shops, bars and restuarants.. Our room overlooked the port and staff were helpful. Showers were good. Not the cheapest but not nearly the most expensive Only criticism is that the beds are a little hard.

Ideal location facing the sea.”
This is the first time to stay at this hotel although coming to Ishigaki many times. In fact, due to highly discounted price make me able to stay at this hotel. Breakfast includes many different dishes, variety of drinks and ice creams. Hotel staff are friendly and cooperative. Ocean view room is also nice.

This hotel has a great location, a good breakfast, and a nice 3rd floor patio area. The one drawback were the beds. Very hard and uncomfortable.

Good location near harbour”
Hotel location good n near the port where u can take ferry rides to various islands. No free parking , have to park at public car park . Hotel is due for renovation as the facade n deco in building is dated. Breakfast is good .

Great location”
Hotel East China Sea enjoys a great location, just a few meters away from the ferry port and from the main restaurants area. The view from our hotel room was stunning, and the room had also a small cozy balcony. The only real downside is that we asked for a queen size bed but they could only provide two separate single beds which could not be possibly joined together

Great View of the Harbour ”
Central, convenient hotel near the ferry terminal. Rooms a bit small, but have a bath! Balcony overlooking the harbour. Had to 'negotiate' to get coffee sticks, which was mentioned when I reserved, but the hotel policy rather than a staff issue. Not bad for the off season rate.

The hotel location is good. Shop, food, pier are within walking distance. All room has a balcony where you could enjoy a nice see view and sunset. The size of the standard room is not big. The breakfast place at the 3/F is ok with variety of choices. No car park facilities and you have to park at the parking lot next door. It is not a 5 star hotel and so don’t expect too much from it. It is Ishigaki where you should enjoy the sunshine and sea. You are encourage to hop-off to the island tours where you could buy your tour tickets from the pier just few minutes away. The reception is small but the staffs are nice and friendly.
