Enjoyable Stay”
We stayed here 14/10 to 21/10/17. My partner had previously stayed at this hotel but it was my first visit so I could confirm if Sorrento is where to have our wedding next year. Luigi greeted us at the reception desk upon our arrival and we were very quickly settled into our room. All the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The location of Hotel Eden couldn't be better, being just a short walk from the station even walking round to the main entrance. There is a side door opening onto Corsa Italia just 200metres from Piaza Tasso with all its many bars and restaurants making for a vibrant nightlife. Marina Piccalo is but a short walk either down the steps at the edge of the piaza or via the lift and pathway down. Breakfast was very adequate with a large choice of meats, breads cereals and fruit. you could also enjoy hot scrambled eggs from the buffet menu. The pool area was clean and is serviced from the hotel bar for snacks and drinks. It was rather dirty on our arrival but we had endured very high winds to account for so many leaves etc in t he pool. It was soon cleaned although is unheated and cold for the time of year. on the negative a little shaded in the mornings. Our room was on the forth floor. It was adequately furnished, clean and bright with such excellent views of the Bay of Naples and Mnt Versuvius in the background clearly visible from our bed. The bed was a little hard but very comfortable once used to that. Bedding however was a little tired being in excess of three years old (photos showed it to be exactly the same bedding on my partners previous visit in 2013). The maid service was friendly and timely most days. They did not however renew any bedding during our 7 day stay leaving sheets etc looking very crumpled by the last few days of our stay. The room could do with a small table so you have somewhere to put a glass of wine as you take in the spectacular views from the balcony at those time you like to complet

Definitely one I will return to”
After many holiday nightmares I finally got to Naples, we fancied a visit to sorrento and so booked this hotel for the night. The staff went above and beyond and were so helpful, the room was spotless, breakfast was lovely and it is in a great location. The hotel itself has fabulous areas to sit and have a coffee or a glass of wine. I will be back for a full holiday here next year.

Perfect central location. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool is perfect to take a dip and cool off in the lovely garden. Triple rooms great for family with TV and aircon and a safe. Facilities are clean and functional with good wifi in reception. Ideal base for holiday in Sorrento.

pros-hotel very close to the centre , exceptionally placed close to the square, train station and lal amenities good clean hotel, not very fancy but all essential requirements provided staff helpful cons-kettle with coffee making facility in the room would have been nice breakfast area needs refurbishment and update, very dated old look, some days there were no tissue papers , breakfast essentially everyday the same, edible, for the money it is good value

We were greeted by friendly, welcoming staff. They were also very helpful in providing directions and travel information. Lovely room with a small balcony and good view. Excellent breakfast and it was useful that there was a very good on site restaurant.

Last minute stopover”
This was a last minute stay while awaiting a next morning flight from Nice. Once we found the hotel, it was very easy and comfortable. Rookie mistake from us, careful as there are two addresses with the same name and we picked the wrong one from the cars GPS and wasted an hour.

The hotel needs to be updated the dining room was very dated with plastic flowers so 1970's. The breakfast was such a dissapointment we only had coffee and toast each morning.The house keeping never changed our bedding in the week we stayed at the hotel. I can see this could be a lovely hotel. But won't be back but the staff manager, bar staff where very helpful.

The heart of Sorrento”
Our stay was delightful despite the somewhat low-end bedroom and breakfast. The position of the hotel was terrific for eating, shopping and people watching. The on-site, separately run restaurant, the surrounding gardens and the pool facilities were very good. The rooms however had just minimum facilities with very poor spaces for clothing etc.

This hotel is not good. The pictures of rooms on the website are not 100% accurate. I got a room that was not represented on the website. It was terribly old. The water pressure was non existent and beds were plywood hard. The AC was mediocre at best. I works recommend paying a little more and going a better hotel.

The pictures of the rooms on Eden's website are not the same as the room I got. My room was very old and outdated. The beds were hard as a board. The AC barely worked. The pool is nice. This place is the American equivalent of super 8. I actually would rather stay at a super 8. I could have stayed elsewhere and been much more comfortable.

Rooms need a big facelift. Furniture was bery worn and mattress very hard and uncomfortable. Felt like management was cutting corners in every aspect of our stay such as a/c was only turned on upon request!

Breakfast and public bathroom ”
Breakfast was not good, as coffee was Nescafé like. Could have really improved on selection of breakfast items, a little roll with some jams was offered, a croissant, and some cheese snd salami. The juice was not fresh. The rooms were very clean however the public restroom was terribly dirty and made staff aware.
