cleanness is felt even in the air and in the taste of water”
I had heard of the special attention of the Elsereine company to water and air purification, yet the experience exceeded my expectations. Water from the bathroom tape never tastes good in nowadays' cities - except at this hotel! The air of air-conditioned rooms too usually makes it hard for me to fall asleep at a hotel, so when I closed my eyes, I thought with surprise that air in the room of this hotel is, I could say, as delicious as the water. It will definitely be MY HOTEL when I come back to Osaka and I would gladly recommend it to all my friends! - Gratefully!

This hotel is a little bit of a walking distance (10+mins)from Osaka Station, i do not recommend this place if you are carrying a lot of luggage. They also do not provide water, but there is a small supermarket at ground floor. All amenities are in small packets, even the toothpaste, which is a little troublesome. Overall the hotel is a little old, but very clean and spacious. Probably will not rebook this hotel in the future.

Great stay in Osaka”
The good: Hotel Elsereine Osaka is directed connected to the Umeda underground streets, so it is very convenient and easily accessible through public transit (both subway and trains). The room we booked is very spacious - at one time I have 5 open suitcases (2 large , 1 medium, and 2 carry-ons) laid out on the floor at the same time around me when I did my final packing. The room was also clean and bright, and the staffs are nice. The "bad": it is at the "tip" of the underground street, so it is a good 5-10 minutes walk from JR Osaka station. The closes subway station is actually Nishi (west) Umeda, from which you can onto the Yotsubashi line to Mamba station. Bottom line: if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the "central" Umeda area (is JR Osaka station), this is a great hotel to stay in Osaka..

Classy, comfortable, a touch of magic”
One of the best hotels we stayed at in Japan. The furnishings and decor were elegant and beautiful.The glass coach and horse and the glass slipper gave the entry a touch of magic. Everything about the Elsereine was classy.Staff at the restaurant were were helpful and friendly . We were able to walk to the Osaka station and the taxi cost around $6US when we used it. Great if you have a JR pass.

Excellent hotel ”
I have stayed for 3 days in this hotel, it locates 5-10mins walking away from Osaka station or within 5 mins away from West Umeda station. If you are planning to stay your trip in Osaka only, it is such a convenient place to stay. If you are considering a interchange stop for Nara, Kyoto, Kobe, etc., overall it is located in a GREAT location. The room is spacious, clean and modern decoration. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bath room is excellent. The whole hotel is completely prohibited smoking, so you will never smell the smoke in the room or corridor. At this price point, it is unbeatable and I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

A VERY GOOD CHOICE”
Very clean and comfortable rooms, non-smoking for all rooms in the hotel, which is good for the children and us. Easy access to their subway, JR, etc. Right beside the hotel, there is an entrance to their subway (underground). Plenty of small and big restaurants around, fantastic food at very low prices you could find, big malls are near too… Umeda Sky Building is closeby. We didn’t take their breakfast, no comments. First night, no router was available. Second night onwards, we were given one. Good internet speed. HD TV, bath tub, huge windows, sofa bed plus twin beds, etc… Everything was well-thought. They even played soft instrumental music along corridors… The moment you step into their lobby, you feel so calm and relaxed. Our country uses different plugs and voltage and they do not lend any converter. We had our own that we had brought. To sum it up, No complaints at all. May use it again.

A great place to relax”
It is in Umeda, a business and residential neighborhood of Osaka. Not too far from Osaka Station in a quiet area. Large room for Japanese standard, super clean, I have all the amenities I need. What I really like about the room is it’s large window making the room bright and comfortable. The hotel is not big and is very quiet. I did not get to eat there but it seems as if it is a popular place to relax for business people. I was there in the middle of the winter so I walked beneath the streets using the train/subway walkways which is convenient and is lined with plenty of shops and restaurants. You can walk all the way to Osaka station where there are 3 big department stores and shops.

Bright, clean and spacious”
Out of the four hotels we stayed for this trip from Shikoku to Osaka, this is the hotel I highly recommend. It's bright, clean and spacious., and the bed is very comfortable too. I believe this hotel is quite new and so all the things are all in very good condition. The only let down is that it's quite a walk from the Osaka (Umeda) Station - probably around 900 m long through the underground shopping streets.

Pros : close to Nishi Umeda station (entry next to the hotel) & Osaka station (walking distance). Breakfast is delicious with various kind of food. Close to many restaurant & cafe. Room is spacious for Japanese standard. Check in/out time is fast. Cons : cant remember if they have gym.

Loved this hotel, nice rooms, great facilities and perfect location for subway access as its right across the street. Down the same stairs you can walk underground to Osaka Station and Umeda without getting cold :) Will always see if they are available when in the area.

We booked this hotel as we had an early flight back to UK, and thought Kyoto where we had been staying was too far to travel to Kansai airport in time. My review is therefore limited to being a family who checked in late at night (~8pm) and left the following morning early (~6am). The hotel is ~12 min walk without suitcases from the Osaka train station, but good 15 minutes when dragging suitcases. We walked along the pavement - but I think there's a walking route underground to about 200m from the hotel using subways linking a couple of JR lines. However there are many steps at the subway entrance and no escalator to help if your suitcase is heavy. We only met one staff member who was friendly and informative. Her spoken English was good. The decor of the hotel is very white and sparkling Cinderella style. They even have a carriage and glass slipper on display. The room would have been good for two, but was cramped for three as the sofa had been folded out leaving little room for our suitcases, which we tripped over frequently. This has been mentioned in other reviews - we expected it to happen, but had booked the room nevertheless as it was for only one short night of convenience for the airport. We did not eat breakfast, but would have if we had the opportunity. The room price was reasonable when compared with the other cities (Kyoto & Tokyo) where we had stayed beforehand. My one piece of advice is to explore the underground routes carefully as the maps are confusing due to there being so many lines available.

Good location, nice hotel”
Hotel was close to many shops and restaurants and downstairs to the underground shopping arcades that link to Osaka JR station. The station is about a 15 minute walk. Underground metro station is around 5 minutes walk. Hotel is only 5 years old, so is still in pretty good nic. Room was compact, but well set out and slightly larger than many hotels we stayed in and had all the necessary and usual features, again, only Japanese channels available. Hotel offers safe deposit, restaurant on the ground floor and a few others in basement level. Staff were helpful, stored our luggage on the last day and organised a taxi for us to Shin Osaka station.

Highly recommended ”
Although we only stayed at this hotel for one night but their staff and customer service were superb. The price also was great, too. Since we came early before the check-in times, their staff has graciously keeping our luggages there while we bagin our sight seeing Osaka town. And even on the next day when we check-out, we also allowed to leave our stuff there for a few hours while we continued to visit the town. We can not thank them enough for their great hospitality besides the cleanliness of their rooms and great prices.

This hotel itself is definitely of a very good standard, room for me was very spacious, items provided inside the room were of high standards such as sleepers, bath room accessories and pillows. The only setback would be the location, quite a walking distance from Osaka station, there is an underground pathway goes almost straight to there but for me it was very difficult to find, got lost several times. Given that it is Osaka, a very popular travellers destination, hotels that are very close to the station with good standard would only be the very expensive ones. I got a bargain at this hotel which I have absoultely no regret of experiencing it.
