The room was small but clean and bright, and the bathroom was spacious enough. The breakfast was excellent for a hotel at this price and I enjoyed it very much. Every front desk staff member was friendly, greeting me with plenty of smiles and words of hospitality, making my stay very pleasant. Also, when I consulted the front desk staff about anything, they were all kind and helpful.
Well located hotel within 10 mins walk of the old town, train station and bus station. Friendly and helpful staff. Triple room was very small and uncomfortable, with a very small double bed and a single bed in a small separate bedroom. Breakfast was average with limited options and a battle to find seats each morning. Would look elsewhere if staying in Nice again. Nothing to do with the hotel, but watch out for Agoda as their currency conversion rate is terrible if you are from a non Euro country.
The hotel is not big but conveniently located. About 10 minutes away from the train station or bus terminal which you use to travel to nearby cities like Antibes, EZE or Monte-Carlo, and 15 minutes walk to the old city literally packed with restaurants along the way. The room is average size but clean and tidy. Staff at reception (David) spoke good English and was very helpful when we checked in, taking the initiative to introduce the surrounding areas and tips to get around. An overall positive experience.
Before checking in, I thought it might be too old-fashioned, but the moment I opened the door to my room, I felt it was very good. As shown in the picture! The front desk was also very warm and friendly, and it's very close to the light rail, just a hundred meters away. I highly recommend it. It would be even better if the hotel updated the pictures on the platform, as the images there look quite old!

Advantages: clean, recently renovated so still quite new, room has a window so it's quite airy, close to the tram station (but not close to the train station), can walk to the old town in about 10-15 minutes. Also close to the port, about a 15-minute walk, so this can be considered a plus. Disadvantages: located at the end of the old town, so traveling to central points requires taking the tram. The nearest train station is also more than a 10-minute walk away, so if you have to pull a suitcase, it can be quite tiring. In return, the hotel is very close to the bus station. The surrounding area is residential, feels safe but a bit dull.
