A good hotel if all you want is a place to sleep.”
Pros: - excellent location in front of a family mart and close to the train station. - you can eat in the lobby. - they have what you need in your stay. -the rooms have more space than just the bed. Cons: -I can't think of any, just that if other guests are noisy, you can hear everything.

Great stay”
Everything was great here at the hotel. Staff was nice, breakfast was delicious. View was good. Capsule room was a little too too small for me but on price range, its affordable. Wifi works too with great speed. Convenience store is also at front of hotel. Just around 3 min. walk at the train and bus station, perfect for traveller like me. Very recommended to stay here.

Exceptional”
Easy to find, comfortable beds, small but nice public bath. The design of the building essentially turns every capsule into its own tiny room. Only downside is that there's no good place to hang your towel overnight if you want a bath both morning and evening. To store luggage there's a few 100 yen coin lockers near the entrance. I'd stay again if I come back to Nikko.

A Great Place to Rest One's Weary Legs”
My trip involved walking from Tokyo to Nikko, and I was mostly looking for hotels in which to just sleep for a cheap price. Being Golden Week in Japan, most of the hotels I stayed in were more expensive than their worth, however, Hotel Famitic Nikko was a real bargain. The staff was welcoming when I arrived, and not shocked to the point of not-being-able-to-communicate because I was a foreigner who can communicate in Japanese. The facilities were very clean, and the amenities were ample. The hotel is a very short walk to the Tobu Nikko Station which was very convenient, not because I rode the train, but because a lot of stores and things are centered around it. It was also a short walk to Nikko Toshogu. All-in-all, Hotel Famitic was the best hotel I stayed at on my trip. It was the cleanest, most accommodating, and the best overall value for my money.

Upgraded capsule hotel”
You have your own "room" which is very narrow and you have your bed, a small table and a closet. The stuff were very nice. However, showers and toilets are not located in all the floors, which make it a bit annoying to go to a different floor to use them.

Close to the station, good facilities”
It was my first stay in a capsule and to my surprise you actually get your own little cubical. So usually there is a bed on the top and the bottom row but here it's just you. There is a little wardrope you can put your stuff in (which can be locked) and a desk and chair all in the cubicle. So it can be a little cramped but at least there is privacy. Very close to the station and it's possible to walk to the shrines etc in the area from there. The only issue was there is no female bathroom on the 2nd floor. So if you need the toilet you need to go either upstairs or downstairs which is a little inconvenient. It would have been better to make the toilet unisex like the one upstairs.

Safety hotel and staff be helpful to change the room. Just one thing that annoy me was a narrow room because our luggage cannot place at the floor. But others is very good.

As this is a shared room the peaceful sleep is really depends the people who share the same area with you. I had the room just next to the door, some time the noise of opening & closing of door by other inconsiderate users made me quite hard to sleep.

Clean, Near main Bus Stop, Breakfast is good”
Location is 5 min walk to Tobu-Nikko Bus Station with 2 restaurants at the left and right side. The share shower room is not a big problem because it's very clean like a private bathroom inside the room. The rate does not include BF, so we paid 500Yen/EA for this and we think it's valuable price. The main area also have a hot baht tub that's good!

5 mins walk from Tobu Nikko station. Convenience stores Family Mart is right opposite the hotel. About 20mins walk to Shinkyo bridge and the other temples. Stayed in the shared dormitory on level 2. Each capsule comes with a tv, a small table with mirror, curtains for privacy and a small closet. Theres no female toilet on level 2, hence i had to use the one either on level 1 or 3. Public bath space is available on level 1. Quite small, only suitable for 2-3 ppl to use at a time. But was a good experience. Breakfast available at 500yen in the lobby in early morning.

Only 5 minutes walk from Nikko Station”
Pros: Convenient location, close to Nikko station and Lion 'Or grocery store. Friendly and helpful staff. When english conversation is extended beyond their abilities, they use an electronic translator to get the your and their message across - a nice touch. Roughly 20-25 minutes walk to Tosho-gu shrine and Shinkyo bridge. Cons: nothing that I can think of.

A short walk away from the bus terminal and Tobu Railway Station. There is a convenience store across the road and good ramen just next door. Eki Spa @ Nikko Station Classic Hotel is also nearby. There are very few of such hotel options with this price range and near train station, especially during peak season.

Close to tobu nikko station. Really liked the layout of the capsule room, which allows for privacy. Each bunk comes with a tv, small wardrobe and dresser which feels like you have a tiny single room to yourself.

Great location, a little expensive, REALLY REALLY HARD BEDS”
Great location but a littl expensive for the quality of beds you sleep on. They were super hard and uncomfortable, the worst beds our whole trip, and I woke up feeling like I slept on the floor. Wouldn’t recommend because of the beds.
