1 week business trip”
Having to travel to Nagasaki at very short notice, I was left with a very limited choice of hotels that had available rooms. So I took a gamble on the Forza having read previous reviews. I was not disappointed in any way only impressed. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful (it goes without saying that they were polite as they are Japanese). The hotel's location was great for me with access to the shopping centre, a taxi stop just along the road, and only a relatively short walk to the ferry terminal which I used each day to travel to/from MHI's shipyard. The room had twin beds, a separate toilet room, a separate washroom leading to a wet room containing a bath and separate shower area to the side. All worked a treat, and all were immaculately clean. There were plenty of power points provided each side of the bed for laptops, phones, etc. A wide variety of foods were offered at breakfast, although I only sampled a few of them. One day I left a number of coins on a table in my room. That evening when I returned th room had been made uo and all coins were still there. I didn't expect anything different in Japan - they have a very honest and respect based culture. Overall I cannot fault this hotel and would definitely recommend it for business use.
Located at covered shopping area”
We were doing a self drive free and easy tour. The Hotel Forza is not listed on the GPS and we had to ask at a petrol station for additional instructions. Parking is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. Being located within the shopping area and business district of Nagasaki the hotel is generally fully booked. The staff was one of the best and extremely helpful in making our stay very comfortable. We received a upgrade and being on very top floor gave us an excellent view of Nagasaki. Nagasaki China town is also within a 15 minute walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and in like new condition. Excellent stay!
Great stay in Nagasaki!”
Hotel Forza is a great choice for staying in Nagasaki. It's located in a main shopping/dining area with a tram stop just a few steps away. The staff were very kind courteous and welcoming and the room was very comfortable with a nice soft bed. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here and definitely recommend others to check it out if planning a stay in Nagasaki. Our 5 day/4 night stay was the perfect amount of time to check out the sites in the city and explore the islands nearby. (we were recommended to check out Takashima Beach by one of the lovely receptionists and it was a great place to get away and relax for the afternoon) There are many great restaurants (including Yossou) just a few steps away.
Fantastic Contemporary Hotel”
The Forza Hotel is located right next to a street car stop. From the moment we entered the stylish foyer we knew it was going to be a chic space rather than a tired corporate hotel. The hotel decor is super stylish and contemporary. Original artwork on the walls and absolute attention to detail. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke a little English and it made things so easy. The breakfast/dining area is on the same floor as reception and it's a lovely contemporary space. The room was spacious and contemporary. Nice view and funky decor. Comfortable bed with first rate bedding. Bathroom was super clean. We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Forza and enjoyed every moment. The hotel set the standard for everywhere else we stayed. By far the best value for money hotel. I would rate it a 4 star hotel. The only minor hiccup is that wifi in the room was patchy. Otherwise, a perfect hotel experience. Highly recommend Hotel Forza.
Good value for money”
The location is unbeatable. Forza is well located inside the covered shopping street. Different kinds of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very close to tram station. Helpful staff. Free coffee bar. But the carpet in the room which gives a feeling not very clean. You can skip the hotel breakfast. Good quality of food can easily be found. Will definitely stay at Forza in my next visit to Nagasaki. Highly recommended.
Great Location for Nagasaki Sightseeing and Restaurants”
Hotel Forza Nagasaki is a really nice, new hotel in a great location of the city. Rooms are slightly larger than the typical three star Japanese business hotel. Highly recommended. Good value for the price!
Great location, clean and good room size”
Very convenient next to a tram stop in Nagasaki. Had to pay 1000 yen for parking though although the hotel subsidised the rest. Room had an iPad and massager to use which was a pleasant surprise. The room was bigger than normal Japanese standard. Wifi was strong! Would definitely stay here again or the Forza brand in other Japanese cities.
Relaxing stay at Hotel Forza”
Hotel Forza was a great hotel, the room was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel is easy to find and in a great location with a tram stop just outside. The staff were really friendly too. I would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Nagasaki.
Brilliant 10 out of 10”
This hotel was one of the best in our 3 week trip over Japan Brand new very friendly staff ENORMOUS room plus a massage chair!! Excellent location right in front of the tram/streetcar to JR aswell as to the Peace Park and memorials.. This was actually the first hotel which actually had a wardrobe and bag storage! Excellent price and free coffee machine in the lobby. We didn't have breakfast.. I wish there were more Forza Hotels over Japan.. Just such good value for money and HUGE!! Can't stress that enough!
Hotel at a very good location”
Located at the shopping district in Nagasaki and opposite of Chinatown, the hotel location is superb. It's slightly far out from the JR Nagasaki station but a taxi ride cost around 700JPY. We didn't choose to eat in but there are a lot of food options around the area. Their room is quite spacious and very new & clean. Everything was well though of - the hair drying area, plugs and bathrooms. We found the amenities within the hotel room to be very user friendly.
SUPERB STAY and ACCESIBILITY IS GREAT”
PROS: Free coffee, Free women beauty packets (Very fragrant) at the Front Desk, Very clean, Multi charger at the room, good breaksfast, Discounted Parking. Accessible to Tram. Major store is adjacent to the Hotel. Highly Recommended. We travel with our car rental. Forza Hotel affiliated Parking we tried is Doza Park; GPS mapcode : 44 240 614*28 For Hotel Forza mapcode is : 44 240 768*33
Very Good Hotel with very Good Price”
The hotel is just located on the shopping street, with many shops and restaurants around. We rented a car and you can drop off the luggage in front of the hotel first and then park the car in their partner car park with only 5 mins walk. The lobby provides 24-hr free coffee. The room is relatively big compared to the usual Japanese hotel, with everything you need, even an iPad and a "Handy" phone which you can take out and use unlimited data and make international call free of charge. An universal charger for different phone type is also provided and there are many sockets which are very convenient. The rate is then very attractive for what mentioned above and hence I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay here again if I come to Nagasaki next time.
New, clean, accessible, helpful staff”
Located in the heart of Nagasaki city, the Hotel is easily accessible and is just a minute walk away from the nearest street-car / tram station. It is also very close to many of the attractions in the city. The Hotel is modern and clean. Apart from the foot massager , there is an iPad in my room ("Refresh" type). The iPad has a lot of useful and interesting applications pre-installed. Very convenient for travellers indeed. The bed is extremely comfortable and I had 2 great night sleep. My plan did not include breakfast but each guest may use the coffee and tea corner for free. Ladies may obtain free amenities (e.g. hair bands, cotton pads and tips, hair treatment pack, cleansing oil, bathing salt, etc.) from the front desk. Staff are very friendly and polite. They are also happy to answer any queries. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend the Hotel to everyone going to Nagasaki.
Love it, modern hotel”
First, the check in is very impressive, you can do it on your own with a very big screen, scan your passport, get your room keys. Even the room is a bit cramp for 3 beds but it is bright and clean. Shower and toilet separated, all bright and clean. They even provided 3 portable massages pillow in the room. In the lobby, there is 24hrs free coffee, chocolates drinks. They also provide full set of amenities, like hair mask, facial cleanser, etc. You can take tram from Nagasaki station and stop just few meters from the hotel. The hotel is located in a very big shopping streets.
customer service good”
couldnt give any comment for this time. coz we did not able to stay in this hotel for last min due to very bad weather in Nagasaki. Trains forced to stop from Hakata to Nagasaki. but the hotel customer service officer was very kind, we have to cancel the booking for very last min and they willing to help us for this issue and did not charge us any cancellation fees. Will visit for this hotel for our next visit
Excellent hotel in Nagasaki”
Location: fantastic! Just right in the middle of downtown. Around 15 mins tram from Nagasaki station. However, if you want to go to atomic bomb site, it takes around 25 mins tram. Nevertheless, this is not a big problem. The tram is pleasant anyway. Restaurants, shops are convenience stores are around. Room: very new, clean. Have a big table and TV. Air-con is perfectly functional. Toilet: clean. They provide usual amenities. Sleep: it was great. Pillows are nice and bed is clean. Facilities: coin laundry is efficient and cheap. (200 yen for 30 mins wash, 100 yen for 30 mins dry). I personally don't have any complaint towards this hotel. Yet, I heard someone was complaining there is no safe in the room so he was angry about that. Just let you know. Overall, I LOVE this hotel and highly recommend to y'all.
New & Comfortable ”
Hotel is very new and super comfortable. Well located above a shopping arcade with lots of restaurants (japanese, mcdonald, starbucks etc). For self drive travelers, parking is a hassle. Located in a nearby building about 5 mins walk away. Cost about 1000-1200 yen overnight till around 11am the next day. Parking building is hard to find for first timers (please email hotel beforehand for map & direction). Got to get the special parking ticket from hotel reception. About 20-30 mins drive to the top of Mount Inasa. Parking about 400-500 yen one time fee. Nice restaurant with great view of nagasaki at the Mount Inasa observatory (very advance booking recommended). Nagasaki peace park about 10 mins drive. Highway about 20-30 mins drive from hotel.
Nice rooms, staff and service”
After a few hostels I wanted a little privacy and the hotel Forza was perfect. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a massive selection for breakfast. Unfortunately for western tastes the massive selection was like an oriental buffet. I'm not sure I'll ever get used to sweet and sour pork, rice and noodles at 7am! But if you can face it then you'll be amazed at what's on offer. There's also cereal, toast and croissants for the more tame amongst us. I really liked my stay here though and just what I needed.
Convenient location, relatively new”
The hotel is located inside a covered street shopping area. No 1 tram stop just located outside the hotel. Modern room, same feel as Forza hotel in hakata. Value for money. The reception is located on the 4th floor. They have not implemented the card access to use the lift.
Highly recommended. ”
A lovely small but cozy hotel. Like the decor and the free coffee and cocoa. location is great, have lots of eateries in the neighborhood. Found Nagasaki city quite outdated upon arrival. But after 2 days, I totally fell I n love with this city with hills and water. I actually found Nagasaki more interesting than Kumamoto.
