Super trendy hotel ”
We stayed in hotel G 1est for 3 nights in our arrival to Myanmar. It was supposed to be only one night but there were no flights or buses available out of Yangon because of the water festival. Colleen and Florest where super nice and went out of her way to help us fine a flight out. The hotel is super trendy and modern, the rooms are small but very complete, clean with great amminities and super confortable. The breakfast is delicious with lots of varieties and healthy options. They kept our bags for 10 days while we traveled Myanmar, We booked our room though Agoda for 1 more night in hotel G as our last stop in Myanmar. 4 days before our arrival, I realized that I had made a mistake and booked for the same day different month, immediately I contacted both Agoda and Hotel G, even though my reservation had no changes allowed, as it was a mistake they where kind enough to change the date for me with no extra charges. this was really amazing gesture both from Hotel G and Agoda.

Lovely Hotel”
A nice hotel in a good location of Yangon. Many hotels in Yangon are either a bit run-down or expensive but Hotel G being a new hotel and at a reasonable price by Yangon standards to worth staying at. It is a trendy hotel with a comfortable ambiance. I'm a frequent traveler to Yangon and this is now my go-to hotel.

Good Customer Experience & Location”
A boutique hotel, location is central hence moving around to places of interest are rather convenient. Had an issue during my stay and their acknowledgement on the matter & speed in resolving it was rather impressive. Comparable to a 5-star hotel service, anytime! While the room is small in size (Good Room type), you have everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast spread is limited (breads, muffin, limited cold meat) and they offer 1 main course from their morning menu, which I think is insufficient considering the portion served. Increasing the portion by 20-30% will be more satisfying. A good place for dinner, tasty choices of meals & portion served is sufficient compared to morning breakfast. They have a live band playing on Friday night - enjoyable. It will be my choice of hotel when I travel back to Yangon, without hesitation. However, do take note that this is a NON-Smoking hotel. You are allowed to smoke outside. Well done to the Operation Manager & the front office

Exceptional”
Had a good stay here at Hotel G Yangon. Staff were extremely friendly. Walking distance to Bogyoke Market. The room is a bit dark due to the lightings used. The toilet and shower room is separated. There's a gym for hotel guest.

Perfect place in central Yangon with good food, drink and facilities”
I always stay in Hotel G when I have business in Yangon or if I am spending some leisure time there. It is a nicely designed hotel with comfortable rooms. Everything works well, the bar/restaurant is very good and the gym is fantastic. The staff are invariably polite and cheerful.

Hipster hotel at city centre !”
The hotel gives you a very young vibe and is right opposite Yangon train station. It’s also very near the common tourist attractions in Yangon, so it cost on avg 2000kyat on GRAB to get from hotel to one of the locations. The hotel is clean and looks amazing. One weakness is that the rooms are rather small , the same goes to the shower and toilet areas. But considering the price, quite worth the stay!

Boutique Hipster Spot on the edge of downtown Yangon”
Yangon hotels are hit or miss, but not the Hotel G. For those of us working elsewhere in Myanmar, it is great place to re-group, eat some great food, and enjoy wine. Well-located for meetings and fun in the downtown area of Yangon

Top hotel!”
My wife and I spent 3 nights here and had a great time! The hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk towards the downtown area. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfy (excellent for the price). This hotel also provides access to a great gym in the same building and has an awesome restaurant & bar downstairs where we were more than happy to wait out the stormy weather with a couple of drinks. The staff in all areas are all very nice and friendly - really happy with our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangon

Hip Hotel in the Heart of Yangon”
The hotel is located in a central location in Yangon. It is within 15 minutes walk of the Sule Pagoda where a lot of action takes place. We booked the Greater Room and we were not disappointed. The room had plenty of space for two people. The shower, toilet and wash areas were separate from each other, which allowed for simultaneous use. But the best part of our stay was the hip room design. All design details were thoroughly thought of, from the room layout to the printed information cards. The lobby boasted a nice front desk and waiting area, with a good restaurant and bar offering affordable draft beer and cocktails. There were a lot of foreigners and locals hanging around during our visit. It seemed that the restaurant and bar attracted both foreigners and locals as one of Yangon’s hip watering holes. The gym on the 2/F was probably one of the nicest in Yangon. It was a members-only gym that boasted a huge space with several equipment and free weights. Hotel guests were grante

Nice hotel, but hospitality should have been better”
We stayed at 3 different hotels during our 4-day trip in Myanmar. Hotel G is very well designed and nice to stay at. The only frustration is we think the hospitality is not up to standard. Check-in was pleasant and welcoming and that's pretty much it. We booked a room for three, and only two sets of amenities were provided. Breakfast selection was poor and the service was relatively ignorant. We felt we had to try to get the staff's attention and food over the counter was never filled and we had to ask a couple of times. We did not feel welcome walking back into the hotel, and walking past the reception made us feel like strangers. It's just a relatively 'uncomfortable' stay in terms of hospitality. The other two hotels we stayed at were 1. Best Western Green Hill and 2. The Mountain Top (Kyaiktiyo) and they are significantly different (better) in making us feel welcome and comfortable. For the price we paid (around 150 USD a night), we would have chosen to stay somewhere else.

Avery nice stay”
Hotel G is very comfortable & has a very nice, affordable restaurant. However you need to book a table for Friday & Saturday evening. The staff are very good & speak excellent English. I would return if I was in Yangon.

Great hotel if you do not mind cold showers”
Everything about the hotel is great, except that during my entire 3 day stay there, the hot water did not work. I addressed this to them on the first day, but nothing was solved, and upon departure, I told them again, but there was indifference. Then, I assertively told them it was unacceptable blah blah and they solved it mildly with a small compensation. I worked out at the nice gym everyday but only showered once because I could not deal with the cold shower. The bar is quiet hip and the food is average to slightly above average. I ate there just because I liked the atmosphere and did not want to deal with the fuss of finding outside eateries. My main complaint really is the hot water and for the price I paid in their most expensive room, it was very irritating. They just need to get their act together instead of constantly saying "sorry," which is not enough for me. Figure it out and get it fixed.

Fantastic location, great staff and amazing food”
I love this hotel. I have stayed in many Yangon hotels, but this one really has character and so do the staff. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally pleasant and helpful including the house keeping, the chef, the restaurant and bar staff and reception. It will definitely be my preferred Yangon hotel in future . Thank you

Best Hotel in Yangon”
This is by far the best hotel i have stayed in Yangon. Rooms are as like the photos portrayed and it is really lively at night due to the hotel's promotion for their F&B. Girls get free flow of cocktails on wed nights with no min. spend!

G is Great..!”
This is a well situated downtown location, with easy access to Shwedagon pagoda and a stones throw from Junction City shopping mall. The modern feel to all the tidy and well kept rooms is enhanced buy having the wonderful Babette restaurant/bar on the entrance tot the hotel. The food is eclectic and the service excellent. Can't fault anything here. This is a beacon for others to follow in Yangon.

Comfortable stay”
This hotel was a welcome comfort after traveling around - the room was impeccibly clean and the bed comfortable, even if it was very small. It was also a short walk to the Sule Pagoda and a lot of really cool streets to check out. We were only in Yangon overnight and had an early morning flight, so we didn't get to check out the breakfast or gym., which I was sad about because I love their sister restaurant in Singapore!

Excellent quality”
A lack of pool is made up for by quality of the furnishings and the excellent restaurant. Expect to pay expat prices in the restaurant, but it's well worth the price (we also ate at other 5-star hotels in Yangon that charged more for far inferior food).

Great stay!”
Great base for Yangon, consistently friendly and prompt service, and a pretty chill restaurant (Babett) downstairs. Room is a bit small but probably standard for Yangon, and has all the usual amenities except for a mini-fridge. Would recommend to business and leisure travelers who are looking for something that feels a little luxurious but isn't the Ritz!

Clean and easy residence for business travel”
Really enjoyed staying with Hotel G during my trip. The restaurant and gym are excellent additions, allowing travelers to quickly blend into the local scene. My only complaint is regarding working spaces; while the hotel claims to have a communal public space for people to work, this "space" is quite small and always occupied by the hotel staff. I would recommend the managers move to their office to free up working space for business travelers which seem to be the main occupants of the hotel.
