The location is great as it is close to both Shizuoka JR Station and Shizuoka Station. The cleanliness is also satisfactory. Although I did not have breakfast, there are many great restaurants around the area, including Don Quijote. Overall, I am satisfied with the location.

Early morning”
Visited the hotel's garden and had a wonderful time enjoying the unique and beautiful space. Learned that it was the garden where Tokugawa Yoshinobu spent over 20 years after the Meiji Restoration, which made it even more special.

Clean hotel with no complaints”
Stayed for 3 nights with two children. Added an extra bed (3000 yen/day) and made it a twin room. The room was clean and shiny with a unit bath. The mirror was also shiny and impressive. There was a humidifying air purifier installed from the beginning, and the bottled water in the refrigerator was chilled every day (free), which was very thoughtful. The front desk staff were also very polite. When we asked for additional chairs and tables, they kindly lent them to us. We didn't have to return the key to the front desk, so it was easy to come and go with the card key. As for suggestions, there are no breakfast plates for children, so we had to divide the adult plates for the children. That's why we didn't have breakfast. I think 1200 yen is a bit expensive for breakfast, so if there were breakfast plates for 1000 yen and kids plates for 600 yen, the whole family could enjoy eating together. Please consider it! Despite the improvement points for breakfast, it was a pleasant and lovely hotel! Thanks to that, we enjoyed our stay in Shizuoka. Thank you very much!

Great hotel with a beautiful garden and nice breakfast. ”
We stayed here for one night. The location is very close to Shizuoka station, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The highlight is the beautiful garden in back of the hotel. A wonderful morning or evening stroll. The staff was excellent and the breakfast buffet was great. Our only “complaint” was that our room was on the street side and is very near the entertainment area so there was a lot of loud, drunk kids throughout the night until very early (5:00 a.m.). This is by no means the fault of the hotel or staff, just an unfortunate case of location. If possible we would ask for a garden side room. We will definitely stay here again.

Typical business hotel but with interesting location”
Exactly what you expect from a Japanese business hotel. But with a bonus. It is located next to a beautifully maintained garden (part of the residence of the last Shogun). Be sure to take a walk around it (access to all guests). A tranquil retreat right in the centre of modern Shizuoka . Two interesting high end Japanese restaurants also share the gardens - unfortunately I could not get reservations there during my stay but will try next time.

The room is really small to fit 2 people. You can barely walk around. But it is sufficient for sleeping and storage.
