A weekend in akasaka
Very friendly staff. They rushed outside to give us umbrellas when they saw we wanted to walk outside in the rain. Helpful when asking for information. It's excellent location wise. Close to Roppongi and other interesting locations. Only con is that the room is tiny for european standards. If you have more then 1 baggages, it will be hard to find space to unpack and store its content.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel
Great location, very close to 2 subway exits (6 and 7). Rooms are pretty big for Japanese standards and really clean. There's a 7/11, a Family Mart and a McDonalds nearby. Am looking forward to our next visit.

peak season at last minute
booked here last minute during the cherry blossom season so it was quite pricey for the very small room we got. The customer service was excellent however coming from a western country the rooms were just a bit too small as we didn't have space to open up our suitcases other than on the bed. Location is superb! would stay there again but maybe book a larger room next time.

Perfect location and friendly staff!
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Grand Fresa in Tokyo; our first stop of our honeymoon in Japan. We had read many reviews beforehand and we expected the room to be small. Though it wasn’t very large, it was pretty much the same size as any other room in Japan. We were traveling with backpacks so the size of the room was actually perfect for two people. The room was extremely clean and offered an assortment of toiletries (great shampoo, body soap, etc.). The location was absolutely fabulous! Akasaka is a wonderful neighborhood. Many coffee shops around (with free wifi) such as Tully’s, Starbucks, Doutor, etc. The coffee shop connected to the hotel was also great for a quick breakfast. We also STRONGLY recommend the restaurant Sushi No Midori (located in the Biz Tower – 5-minute walk from the hotel). More importantly, the subway station was a 20-second walk away. The staff was very friendly and helpful! All in all, we would definitely stay at this hotel again! The value for money is 10/10.

Acceptable
what we found we out with our booking is we were on a smalldouble room, which we could hardly move around. the length of the room was equal to length of the bed, and the bed being stick to the wall there was hardly any space for 2. hence it wasn't very pleasant to stay there 4 nights considering you have to unpack your staff but again the space issue. The furniture e.g. table and wardrobe (with no shelves) was old and not useful to solve the space problem. Table, chair and tv was too big for the room. There was no design in the room. Carpets were old and didn't look clean either.

location is near subway metro station, just 3mins walk. but its not at the city center.
i was there for honeymoon in tokyo. the staff was so helpful, friendly, respectful and kind. they helped me to connect with SQ airlines for arrangged our luggages arrive at the hotel thought their staff english capability wasnt good enough(hehe), but they tried to understand what we talked. the room was small but enough for 2 persons. there was porn inside the room TV to watch (be careful if you bring your childs here!) hehehe. the hotel is just 2-3mins walk from akasaka subway station (akasaka st. chiyoda line). akasaka was so quite, u need to go to other city part to see tokyo's life. if i go tokyo again, i wont back to this hotel (coz its so far from the city center), but honestly id like to say that this hotel is very warm, the services was good, the staff was friendly, and you can drop your luggages there for free!!! c.i time is 3pm, and c.o time is 11am (it was so early, right?)

Totally worth it!
The cleanliness, service, room, location, everything was perfect! A bit on the pricey end but it was totally worth it! Was abit worried as the area was near Roppongi which is quite rowdy at night but it was totally safe. Would definately come back again!!
