Nice option with great staff
Clean hotel with nice breakfast. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Tun Tun (Matthew) was very helpful when I asked him about doing a city tour. He was able to arrange something on the spot and we had a nice day of site visits (Shwedagon Temple, Inya Lake, Reclining Buddha and several other historic sites). Will stay again if in Yangon in the future.

Good location, but noisy.
Good location in Chinatown. However, very noisy. If you stay here, you need ear plugs, as all the rooms face one of Yangon's busiest roads. Very helpful staff, some of whom spoke very good English. Overall, not too bad.

Good small hotel downtown. Very helpfull staf. Room with amizing view
This was a good stay at Grand United Chinatown hotel. Staff is very helpful, location is good. I had the penthouse room, on the top floor of the hotel, with a big private terrasse and amazing view on Yangon and Shwedagong Pagoda. Room is quite big, clean, with a separate seating area. Bathroom is a little bit small, but still OK. Only problem of the room is that it is noisy in the morning when trafic Jam starts, around 7h30. The breakfeast was very good, event if the restaurant is a little bit small.
