Business stay at Hotel Greenwich Village”
proximity to work, wireless available, friendly staff
Stay was pleasant and the staff were friendly. The hotel operates off of a generator minimizing electricity cuts. Rooms closer to the street could be noisy at night due to barking dogs, so best to bring ear plugs. Breakfast was basic but fine and quick.

Greenwich Village”
location, ease of use, pool
The hotel was fine but the standards are not quite those of local competitors. The food could be more fresh and the decor lighter.

Quick Stay”
The pool area, quiet room away from the main road and a nice bathroom
The stay was good, the quality of the internet connect was poor with too many options and constantly changing. I only had a quick breakfast there and they managed to accommodate my whims of fresh fruit, yogurt and some granola. Overall no complaints

Very average hotel”
Up on a hill, less air pollution
The hotel was clearly a high-class hotel in the 90s, but since that time has not received a lot of attention. Wooden doors that don't lock, old mattresses, dogs barking all night and extremely unreliable internet made the stay less than idea. Particularly disappointing was that the hotel staff recommended a taxi driver at twice the price that should have been. A taxi that should have cost no more than Rupees was facilitated by the staff to cost 1000 Rupees. Unfortunately, I had just arrived in the city and didn't know that taxis were so easily available, so I was duped by the hotel staff. I hope that the other hotel staff will go after him for the tip that I didn't leave in the hotel tip box.

Very nice, very comfortable, quiet location”
Friendly staff, air con and TV in room, pool, wifi, breakfast (more or less 3 things)
Very happy with our stay. Hotel exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, spacious. I would say there was a slight degree of decaying grandeur, but hey, your staying in Kathmandu. You don't go there for luxury hotels and spas. If you enjoy Nepal and Kathmandu your enjoy the Greenwich Village.

Basic hotel & very clean”
Away from the busy road
Pleasant stay, staff very friendly. A little worried when using power points as lots of sparks & power would come & go. Tv was also very average
