Heads up… Long read ahead… The hotel is nice, as it is. What sets H2o hotel apart from their competitors is their attentive staff. And i am not only talking about one specific staff, they were all attentive and quick to offer help. We booked the hotel to celebrate my eldest son’s birthday. While we were at the lobby i asked my son if he likes this year’s birthday celebration? Immediately after my son responded to me, one of the receptionist politely said excuse me and asked my son if its his birthday today. My Son said yes with a smile. The receptionist sung short part of the birthday song while holding a birthday banner. My son’s eyes brighten and genuinely thanked the receptionist. Another instance was when i woke in the middle of the night and decided to go out for a smoke. When i reached the lobby, i noticed that there’s a different receptionist on shift. He greeted me good evening with all smiles and asked if i need anything. So i said no and that i am just about to go outside to light a stick. He then said there’s a cigar room where i can smoke in peace without worrying about my safety especially it is very late already. The following morning, my other son wanted to have a cup of coffee but we already consumed the one that was provided in our room. So we went out to buy. Just like the first 2 instances, when we reached the lobby, a nice pretty lady waved hi at my son and asked if he needs anything. My son said, i want coffee. The lady pleasantly offered instant coffee and bottled water. My son said thank you but refusing because he said he needs more than just one coffee, he enumerated the names of his brothers, his yaya and myself. The lady said she can give him enough for all of us in exchange of my son’s sweet smile. My son was so happy and gave the lady a hug. That same day, my boys decided to go and try the pool. And because boys will be boys, my 2nd son got scratched on his arm from one of the plants. When we were on our way to our room, we stop

We took our daughter here for her 2nd birthday she loves fish so we got a room with an aquarium and she loved it. Would sit there and point amd say fish everytime one passed by. Such a great room. Very clean and the bed was maybe the most comfortable ive ever slept on. The location is perfect as there is plenty to do for the little one to keep her busy. She slept at 930pm and slept all through the night. She was wore out after a fun filled day. Great place to take the little ones. Staff was super friendly and actually sent a small cake to the room for her birthday as well. Great place to stay i will bring the family back again for sure.

Room Upgrade and Cleanliness: The upgrade to the family bay room was a delightful surprise. The room was impeccably clean and well maintained. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the mesmerizing water view. Despite occasional floating rubbish, the therapeutic effect of gazing at the water was undeniable. The star city Ferris wheel lights at night added a magical touch to the ambiance. Restaurant at Makan: While the restaurant had its merits, cleanliness could have been better. The greasy floors were a minor drawback. The breakfast buffet, though limited in choices, compensated with great taste. Room Location and Accessibility: Staying on the 2nd floor was convenient, but the path leading to the room felt exceptionally long. It was akin to navigating an airport boarding gate. Perhaps a walkalator (or moving walkway) would enhance guest comfort in such instances. Staff and Lounge: The staff members were friendly and accommodating, contributing positively to the overall experience. The lounge, with its nice views, provided a relaxing space for guests. Booked this hotel for a 3D2N stay as it was close to Manila Ocean Park. Echoing the same sentiments as other reviews I've read of the place. Room and amenities are ok, but quite expensive for the quality we received. ROOM Best feature is the wall-size aquarium. Looks as advertised. Air-conditioning is good. Main issues are: 1. Bed is too soft for our liking. No support whatsoever. A little more give and it's almost akin to a water-bed. Was quite hard getting out of bed due to it being really bouncy. Sheets are clean though. 2. Lack of properly working electrical outlets. Only four outlets were found at the time we were in the room. One in the bathroom, one on top of the mini fridge (which wasn't working because it's too loose), one under the main table (the only properly working outlet in the room), and one where the room telephone is plugged into (works but depends on what you're plugging in). I suggest bringing your own extension cords and adapters for your own ease. BATHROOM Complimentary toiletries and other hygiene necessities are available. Towels and bath mat are clean and fragrant. Shower area could use more shelves for toiletries to put on as the one installed (see picture) is too small especially if you're travelling with more than one companion. Water pressure and temps are good and working. Just found it weird that the glass door to the bathroom itself and the glass door for the shower area are one and the same. ENTERTAINMENT Standard LED Samsung TV with Sky Cable as its main provider. No Netflix as it isn't a Smart TV. Could use some improvement as majority of people nowadays have shifted from cable TV to streaming services. OTHERS In-room phone is working as it should. Mini fridge is working though no bar items are present. Overall, good hotel if you're really planning on spending a day or two at Manila Ocean Park but the place is kind of dated so manage your expectations.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, my kids were absolutely captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Hotel H2O. The staff's friendly smiles made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Aqua Room, and it was nothing short of amazing. My kids were thrilled to see the colorful array of fishes right from our window. It truly felt like we were sleeping underwater surrounded by marine life. Kids had hard time sleeping but it was the very first time it was okay 'cause they are fascinated with the fishes. The staff at Hotel H2O went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. With my youngest prone to tantrums, it was a relief to know that the staff understood the challenges of parenting and were always there to assist with a sympathetic ear. For families on a budget who are looking to add a splash of excitement to their vacation, I can't recommend Hotel H2O enough. With its water-themed activities and excellent service, it's a good place for family fun. We'll definitely be back!
