Walking distance from everything”
We had a great time at Harrington. The monuments and museum was near the hotel. We walked going to the sites. They have a designated parking space for hotel guests at a fixed overnight price. Staff was okay and the room has ref, water heater, ironing board, etc. There is a bath tub.

Hotel Harrington is in a great location, central to alot of attractions. The staff is super accommodating and helpful. Within a short walk was a verity of restaurants.

Good value, historic hotel, bathrooms and electrical outdated, no microwave, But our family enjoyed staying here. Staff was very nice, and the gentleman that opened the garage to help us get our car was exceptionally nice!

A Grand Old Lady in a Good Location”
I love older buildings so this worked for me but the way things were rigged for air and heat were disconcerting. However, I was only there to rest and sleep so I ignored that part. The staff is wonderful and the location is great. I was spending all of my time at the National Archives so...location, location, location!

Old but a good place to stay”
If your looking for an updated hotel this not the one for you. Everything about this hotel is old and not just vintage old. But for the price and location it was enough for us. Carpet old, bathroom is small, wall paper is peeling, elevator smelled horrible but we needed a comfortable close hotel to Gov buildings that didn’t cost an arm and leg and this satisfied that need. Had all your basics: bed, bathroom, tv, fridge, microwave and small shop for necessities and lots of restaurants and coffee shops next door!

Staff is nice. Room is horrible, very small, walls are cracked, bathroom door does not shut, bed pillows are hard and so are the beds. Bathroom was not clean, hair from previous visitor was in sink and tub the floor was dirty. Very old hotel without any updates.

Great location, tired hotel”
Stayed two nights. Worn and dirty corridor carpets, cracked paint over door frames. Built 100 years ago BDO t think it’s had a major refit for many years. Inside rooms, clean enough. Unplugged the noisy fridge although the gurgling noises from the heater might keep some awake. Location is superb -,just five minutes plus walk to the metro Central and Ford’s Theater and lots of other attractions. Anything else in the vicinity easily 30-50% more expensive. Skip the cash breakfast at Harriet’s, an attached restaurant

The hotel is a great location! The staff is nice and there’s a souvenir shop on the lower level. It is run down though and the outlets are too hard to find we had to move furniture around and they spark when you plug something in. The breakfast buffet was a bummer as there was no coffee refill and as a person who loves coffee, this was not good and paying $15+ each for a few breakfast selections (orange juice wasn’t refilled) was not worth it we had to go out for breakfast with my mom the next day. But if you need a great location and the hotel doesn’t bother you much, this would be your spot.
