Hotel Hazel”
This was the best hotel we stayed in Myanmar this time, value for money. It’s a pity we only stayed one night, just for taking the flight back to China. It's located in the east of Mandalay, very close to the Palace, the streets here were clean and buildings were new and modern, a lot better than the center of Mandalay, and you would see Mandalay Hill in your room. The design and decoration of the room was attentive and focused on details, for example, the drain in shower room, the indicators on each switch and enough desks and racks to put all your stuff, very thoughtful. Everywhere is clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was amazing as well. My mum and I liked it so much, would definitely come back.

Bonafide 4 stars hotel”
The staffs go beyond to assist me to make sure my flight ticket is confirmed or provided me an address to complete my task. I didn't mind the location as I had decided to hire a driver to drive me around that 2 days to cover more places and staying away from the centre is actually better since it is quieter for my rest. You can only eat in hotel restaurants since there's no other place to eat around, but the food is really delicious. I have peace of mind eating in hotel since prior to Mandalay I suffered food poisoning elsewhere. Food price is hotel standard, still affordable. Breakfast has good variety. Room is clean and comfortable. TV channels good selection. Only thing I find expensive is the charges for laundry. Overall a really nice hotel, would stay again.

Poor Management and Services”
Hotel Hazel could be a pleasant place to stay but not only it is far away from downtown, but it is also very poorly managed. The staff doesn't speak English, doesn't want to help and don't really seem to maintain the place. Nothing is working properly, the restaurant is not operating fully, etc. Bad experience for us at Hotel Hazel.

Great hotel on the outskirts”
The location was very near our friend living locally, and the hotel was great, especially the staff, who were veey helpful. The breakfast was substantial. The pool, however, could use an increase in temperature.

Mandalay stay”
Although the spacious is large but the facilities are not installed properly. Waste the area. Bathroom is easy to get wet although they provide both shower and bathtub. The shower area is not fencing.The air con of the room is not considerate. The hotel requires improvement.

Pathetic service and Behavior ”
We were regular customer for Hazel , first time they charge for the early check in even though it's clearly mention in the Booking .Swimming pool closed for 3 hours maintenance and later they said , it's closed for the day . For late check out we were agree to pay for 2 rooms , but they said as per hotel policy only 2 person per room is allowed to sit

With the price you paid the facilities is just right with everything needed for a 3 star hotel, do not think it is 4 star as claimed by the hotel. The staffs are not very responsive and the rooms are a bit old or not very well maintained.

Beautiful room”
Beautiful room (except water temp quite cool for shower), staff were amazing and were extremely helpful and nothing was too much. Food at restaurant was delicious but chef only cooks one meal at a time so waiting time for meals can be long and meals were never served at the same time. The location was quite isolated with no other restaurants nearby.

Decently priced”
Surprisingly affordable for 4-star standard. Location is a deterring factor and wifi is erratic. Food choices are generally good with a mix of local and western flavours, room service is available as well. The main drawback was location. It was at the outskirts and travelling on bicycle to the central locations were quite a hassle, but renting an e-bike should solve it.

L'aménagement des chambres dépasse ce que l'on peut rencontrer d'habitude. Matelas très confortables. Le personnel est on ne peut plus aimable. Piscine propre et très longue. Le jeune junior manager nous a déniché Kho Phyo, le meilleur chauffeur que l'on puisse trouver sur Mandalay. Bon restaurant à prix correct. Un excellent hôtel.
