Very good accommodation. The owner was very friendly and we felt welcome. He was also the only host who prepared Asian breakfast which was good (I mean I like eggs and toast but I can eat them while in Europe). He has good English. Room is big and clean. Garden is nice with nice view from the terrace. Easy to get to Sigiriya or Pidurangala (I strongly recommend the latter) from the here. Just get to the town of Dambulla and take the bus which is frequently leaving. If you decide to walk to the Dambulla rather than go by tuk tuk (I prefer walking since I am birdwatcher and you can not see birds from tuk tuk) take the smaller roads not the main road! It is nice walk around beautiful lake.
There is not enough light in the room, it is very dim. There is also too hot in the room since it has no AC and it is under the roof. I guess installing AC and wanted more money for one night would be good idea.

What an amazing host! He made us feel so welcome and gave us lots of advice for the rest of our trip - one of the nicest people we met in 3 weeks travelling Sri Lanka! The room is great and has a kettle you can use. And breakfast was amazing!!!
