Tidy little hotel 15 minutes walk from Tokyo station. Goid for one night stay in the capital.”
Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable little rooms with everything you need. Breakfast is very basic but nice. 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Station and Airport Shuttle. Nothing much around but very convenient for one night in the capital.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good location, clean rooms”
Apart from its small room size (but i reckon its the norm for business hotels in Tokyo), all other amentities + staff’s amazing service more than makes up for it. Helps that a 7-11 store is just a stone’s thrown away, and it’s a short 5mins walk from Kayabacho station and a short 10-15mins walk to TCAT (limousine service to and from airport). Definitely recommended. In fact, this is my second time staying with Hokke Inn. No regrets.
We enjoyed our stay!
Free breakfast is a bonus even though same food everyday I still like it. Room is very small but has everything I need. Location is good, 20m walk to Tokyo station which was convenient for me to go to the airport.
Polite staffs, and comfortable bed”
Room was as small as typical japanese business hotels. Bed was comfortable, and sheets were very clean. Staffs were really polite. Breakfast is really simple. They did not have cereal bowl, so we had to eat cereals in a tea cup, which was a little weird.
Not close to Tokyo Station”
Firstly we arrived in winter midnight to the hotel-closest station which is Kayabacho metro subway station, wandered around and none knew where this hotel is. The hotel name is written in blue led kanji, so we never recognized but as we got closer we finally managed to see small written label Hokke Inn. Hotel offers standard japanese room, small but clean and it offers only western breakfast which are breads, toasts, cereal, etc. if you want to stay close to Tokyo station, i won't say this hotel is close, but this hotel is affordable and close to Kayabacho metro subway station.
Affordable, compact and best for "getting a hotel for sleeping purposes"”
The room was cosy, there was sufficient space to put about 1 -2 medium size luggage. The showering area is a bit small for those bigger built, the shower and tap (for the sink ) has the same controls, so you wouldn't be able to use both at the same time. The toiletries provided are excellent as well as some skin care products provide at the counter are very useful. The breakfast is complimentary and really good. The staff are very friendly and tries their utmost best to better communicate and assist us. It was a very pleasant stay. 😁🖒🖒
Its a nice hotel. The sofa beside the rest room feels cozy. My daughter would always keep sleeping there even if i insist that she should sleep on the bed. The mini table is a n excellent way of saving space, the sofa and the bed could serve as chairs while the table is in the middle. Staff are friendly. The TCAT station is a 10 min. Walk from the hotel. While the train station is a 5 min. Walk. The breakfast is also worth it. Rooms are being cleaned everyday. Since the check in time of the hotel is at 3:00, people would just leave their baggage in the lobby and go for some sightseeing first. After 3:00, when you get back to the hotel to go to your room, you will find out that your luggage is already in your room. All in all the hotel gives you a relax feeling of being at home. 😊
Wonderful stay in business hotel”
Wonderful stay at this hotel. I liked that the location was very quiet from street noise and is close to a subway station. Less than 5 minutes walking. Clean rooms and stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion and shaving kit. Very nice little touches! Room size is very compact. Good wifi speed in the room. Breakfast was simple, I did not partake that is why my rating is a 3 for Food/Dining. This is what you should expect from a business hotel in Tokyo.
It was a very pleasant stay. There is just a 7-11 around the corner, and its only a 5 mins walk away from Kayabacho station. Quite a centralised area since we can easily reach ginza within ten mins by train. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Bed was clean too. Service of the staff was very good and this hotel will definitely be a choice to recommend to fellow tourists who doesnt mind compact rooms.
Good C/P value ”
Good price for value, with friendly service, right in between two subway lines, within 5 mins walking distance. Easy access to major tourist attractions like Ueno, Akihabara, Tsukiji, Roppongi through Hibiya line. Free breakfast with limited selections, but allow to bring the foods back to room for more relaxed eating. Closed to both Tokyo station and Tokyo city air terminal for train or bus ride to airport.
Great and clean hotel”
The hotel is not located on the main road. In fact, it can easily be missed. However, it is located in a quiet neighborhood and quite close to public transportation. Its website mentioned clear directions on how to get to the hotel. From the Kayabacho station, take exit 4a. It is very important for you to get this right. It can be confusing as there are so many exits in this station. The hotel is about two traffic lights away from the Kayabacho station. Make and immediate right and another right at the 2nd traffic light. The hotel is to your right at the first corner. Pros: There is a vendo machine located at the ground floor so you can buy drinks anytime. Free continental breakfast - bread, croissant, jam, rolls, instant soup, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Room has great wifi, fast internet. Quiet neighborhood. Few blocks to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT) where you can get a bus ride to the airport for 3,000 Yen. As soon as a you exit hotel make a right at the end of the street, make a left. TCAT should be visible to your right after a few blocks. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Rooms had a personal ref, a dryer, a tub, clean bathroom (small but clean) and a great toilet with a bidet, spray and all the works. They provide free comb, shampoo, bath get and conditioner too. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Cons Room was really small then again, this is Tokyo. Most rooms are small. No free bottled water. No gym. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff can speak mandarin, and they are very nice to the customer. The front door provide drinks for everyone. Although we went back to the hotel, there is always someone to help.
Reasonable price with good location.
Very good selections for travelers with good location and convenience area”
Close to 7-11, good Ramen place next to the hotel
Tokyo - Summer vacation 2018”
Rooms were very small, but served it's purpose. Breakfasts were a bonus, but same items everyday. Location was good with a few subway stations within a few minutes walk away. Felt safe in the area traveling with family. All areas were easy to get to by subway. Staff were very friendly and rooms were maintained daily.
Good option ”
Positive- Location close to The Metro stations (forget the car, the Metro is the transportation that you must use). Cleanliness is perfect and the staff is flawless and very helpful. Negative- I can't say that the room size is an absolute negative because you get what you buy but its a little bit of a surprise when you open the door. The breakfast is very poor and must be improved
It is OK!”
room about 6 square meters. 1 Adault + 1 kid, bed ok for it. Breakfast = 4 kinds of bread, 2 diffrent croissant (vanilla, chockolate) +2 x jam + potato salad.Coffee and tea unlimited, juice (orange or vege) ok. Stuff - very helpfull.
Very Small Room”
Spent 4 days in this hotel... very small room... we were having 2 bag and literally no space to open both the bags... No place to walk... everything was small and very congested like you are in train or a ship... small bed not recommended for fat or healthy one... far from all sight seeing and central area... 10 minutes walking from 3 metro stations... and airport bus terminal... within 10 minutes walking to restaurants, 7/11, McDonald's and KFC... good wifi speed, helpful staff, good service. tea coffee available all day for free in lobby. but overall not value for money.
