The location of the accommodation is superb, right next to Chicken Street, and it only takes 4 minutes to walk there. There is also a delicious satay restaurant just a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and offer great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Did a last minute decision to stay in Malacca after my business trip day tour ended. Had initially booked a different guest house but due to certain issues, I requested for a refund and went looking for another. I didn’t make any booking and simply walked up to Hong Hotel counter at 10.30pm. The reception had closed then. But thankfully she had just left and helped me checked in straightaway. Seeing that I am alone and full of luggages, she offered me a room on level 1 with easy access and close to the entrance. Greeted with a nice, comfy room and extremely clean toilet. The bed was very comfortable too. The receptionist on the 2nd day was extremely nice too. Allowing me to check out 1 hour later and even helped with my luggage storage. It only cost $30 SGD for a night. Very convenient as well. Just steps away from Jonker street. If I will to travel to Malacca again and looking for a simple place to rest for the night, I will not hesitate to book Hong Hotel again.

I had a nice experience staying here. The room were clean and spacious. They provided towels, soap, and shampoo as mentioned. Also can borrow hairdryer to the frontliner. If you are travelling here, can just bring your own bottle and refill at the hotel. The frontliners were all friendly, even gave me food recommendation near the hotel. They also let me store my luggage and refill water though I have checkout. Jonker Street and city center are very accessible from this place. For those who are Moslem, this hotel is located near a mosque, so that would be an advantage. One thing to note is you need to pay 2RM for heritage tax fee. ATM is just nearby around Jonker Street, so you won't have any problem on withdrawing money.
