Great new hotel -- an oasis in Jayapura”
Staff was superb and went above and beyond for us, including allowing us free long-distance phone calls. Hotel itself is brand new and rooms reflect this. A clean, business-class hotel in Jayapura, which is much needed. WiFi only downstairs in lobby, not in room. TV does have a few English channels, although mostly news. Location is good and safe. Much recommended!

A must-stay if in Jayapura. Good location, around food establishments, some shopping, banks, and police station near center of town. Staff is very helpful in arranging travel, making calls, etc. Rooms are clean, new, comfortable, but no wifi in room--only in the lobby.

I chose this hotel because it was in the middle of Jayapura city, close to the branch office. I go out to eat and shopping is easy because a lot of stores and restaurants around the hotel.

Good option in Jayapura”
I love this hotel! The room is big, the bed is comfortable, with nice pillows (down pillows!) and complete amenities, plus strong wi fi connection. The location is also quite centralized, as it is within walking distance to Gelael supermarket (where they have the only KFC in town) and they have a great bakery next door. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. The food in their restaurant is also great, although the breakfast is standard. The only drawback is the parking spot. They have only limited parking space and it is rather a hassle for you to enter and exit your car outside the hotel, since they practically have no sidewalk. Try their Ikan Woku in the restaurant. It is superb, with fair price as well.

Internet (cable) available in the room, and also other facility like hair dryer, tea and coffe maker, refrigerator, etc. Unfortunately, the hot water in the shower was not warm enough for two poeple. And for the room availability, you'd better make a reservation by internet rather than direct in hotel.

New hotel with some quirks to work out”
The hotel was inaugurated in August this isbfairly new though that is not to say all the hard ware is new as some of the room furnishing, i.e., bathroom counter top, look to have been recycled from other hotels from the past. Of the 108 rooms only 10 are non-smoking so make sure you explicitly request if you are a non-smoker. Unfortunately these rooms are on 2nd and 3rd flloor just up from the ballroom/conference room located on the 1st floor this could be quite noisy if an event is taking place which this hotel seem to have no shortage of. The walls seem quite thin as you could hear activities next door quite often. If hou want a quiet room, try to request one away or on the back side of the hotel as the front side is quite noisy.
