It was a good place to stay. So people are aware, though, at the moment the buffet breakfast has been suspended. You just go down in the morning and fill up a bento box that you eat in your room. All in all, I had a pleasant stay here.

Nice clean hotel with yummy breakfast ”
It’s about 10mins walking distance to this small hotel. Receptionist don’t understand English well, but, they try to meet your queries. Tiny clean bathroom, excellent breakfast. There’s a Japanese restaurant nearby name 菊富士, just across the street, 3-4mins away from the hotel serve very authentic Japanese food. Hirosaki Park also about 10-15 mins away from the hotel.

Hotel is accessible. If you love walking, from Hirosaki station, you can reach the hotel in 11 minutes. You can also walk from the hotel going to Hirosaki Castle Park and Neputa Mura Museum.

Situated between Hirosaki train station (10 minutes by foot) and the historical park with all the sites (also 10 minutes walk). The night male receptionist was quite unfriendly. Maybe because I am not Japanese. Otherwise, the other staff there were friendly, as is how the world perceives the Japanese to be.

Great Breakfast, Spacious Cottage-Like Room between JR Station & Castle”
A 15 minute walk up a main road from the JR station could be long with heavy packs but there is a tourist bus that can make things more convenient. The check in was fine, although things happen primarily in Japanese and they seem slightly understaffed at the front desk. Amenities are self-serve in the lobby and at elevator exits. Room has a very clean "Gradma's cottage" decor which makes it cozy on cold nights. Plenty of space for 6 foot male, 5 foot 2 female and their 3 backpacks. TV is on the small size for watching sumo, but otherwise quite satisfied. Breakfast buffet off the lobby was great fare (especially the white rice!) and needed for exploring the castle area which is just 15 minutes up the street.

There are extra amenities you can borrow/take from the first floor to use in your room. First floor also has a spot serving free water and coffee and the free breakfast alone was good enough for me to recommend this hotel.

The breakfast we had is very delicious. Room is pretty clean. Staff is excellent providing nice service. Location is good. We parked our car on the next street, okay for that, by paying 500 yen. Worth the money to stay here for 1 to 2 nights. Recommended!

Didn't expect a lot from this hotel as it looked dated in the photos but great service. Left my luggage before check-in and came back during check-in time to find out they already put my luggage in the room. All toiletries provided as well plus extras on the ground floor. I wasn't able to avail this as I already rented from the Hirosaki Tourism Office but I saw on the elevator that they can provide free bike. It's between Hirosaki Station and Hirosaki Park making both walk directions manageable.

Does the job”
Located midway between Hirosaki Station and Hirosaki Castle. Nothing of note was spectacular, but nothing was too terrible either. Room is decent, breakfast was so so, front desk customer service is solid. When booking I either accidentally booked a smoking room, or due to the festival at the time no regular rooms were available. I quite dislike cigarettes and was not going to enjoy staying in a smoking room and floor. I checked with the front desk and they were able to switch me floors the day after I checked in which was a huge help
