Located in the heart of the city, ibis Perth is within easy walking distance of just about every attraction this young, vibrant city has to offer the visitor. With over 192 rooms, 24-hour room service, and friendly helpful staff, this centrally located hotel is perfect for both the business traveler or tourist. The property is close to the train station, bus lines, and the city’s free transit system with the airport shuttle delivering visitors right to the lobby of the hotel. While the list of attractions nearby are too numerous to mention, be sure not to miss the Western Australian Museum with one of the largest collections of Aboriginal artifacts in the whole country. Perth has something to offer every visitor - international cuisine, great shopping, art galleries, museums and more. ibis Perth is ideally placed just minutes away from all of these.

Thoughtful gift for a honeymoon couple”
We checked into Hotel Ibis Perth for our honeymoon at the end of December 2012. The hotel is strategically located at the fringe of the busy Perth City Centre and right in front of the airport Connect service. It was easy and convenient to travel to outskirts cities as it is also within walking distance to the Perth Train Station. Moreover, the free CAT bus that runs through the city has a stop just 2 min walk away. We told the staff that we were here on our honeymoon and they surprised us with a beautiful fruit platter and a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our nuptials. While the gift may be small and insignificant, we were grateful for their hospitality. The room is not big, but sufficient for the two of us. There is a rain shower on the bathroom and provided much needed comfort in the hot summer. Highly recommended!
Great location but small room”
We stay in the double + single room for 1 night. We arrived early at 12.30 pm and were told to come back about an hour later. However, we have to wait for another 30 mins after that as the room was not ready. The room was a bit cramp but clean. We love the location of Ibis. It's only few minutes walk to the perth shopping area. Nearby are all the restaurants, shops, supermarket. The location is really fantastic. Opposite the hotel is the Margaret river chocolate factory outlet where you can get really nice and good chocolates as gifts. We have stayed in Kings Perth previously. Though the room in Kings Perth is much bigger but it is located further from the shopping area. If you want to save travelling time to the shopping area, Ibis Hotel would definitely be a good choice. The hotel reception staff has also been very kind to allow us to put our luggage bag there when we return from Albany at around 5 pm before we travel to the airport at 8 pm.
Convenience!!!”
Hotel Ibis Perth has always been a choice hotel for me whenever I am traveling with my friends. It is located 2 streets away from St George Terrace, hence within walking distance from Bus 380 bus stop, which is the bus from Perth Airport. From Hotel Ibis Perth, one can easily access numerous places, as the Transperth Bus Depot is just behind on Wellington Street. In addition, there is access to the CAT buses in the city as well. One can simply walk down to Hay Street Mall or Murray Street Mall, or take the CAT to Watertown, Kings Park, East Perth or walk down to Elizabeth Quay & the Bell Tower. Northbridge is just less than 10 minutes away by foot for a taste of Asian food culture. Definitely my choice whenever I return to Perth for my next visit!!!
Nice hotel, friendly staffs, great location”
The hotel is located at an excellent position at Perth city. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the underground and train station. You can easily find delicious cuisine from all over the world near the hotel. The price of the hotel is reasonable, with excellent services provided by their friendly and helpful staffs. The front-desk staffs are especially nice to us. They are all knowledgeable about the places worth to go around Perth. We didn't plan much before we came but their staffs had given us lots of recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to dine-in. I would recommend this hotel to people who is going to visit Perth.
Ibis Hotel located at a 5-Star Location”
Excellent Location. Traveler-friendly benefits include: (a) Straight walking route to the Elizabeth Quay Bus interchange (Bus No 380 which directly connect to Perth international airport at A$5 instead of the A$15 airport shuttle and require another airport bus to transfer from T3/T4 to T1/T2) (b) Coles supermarket which is 2-3 buildings away (c) Red CAT bus stop, which is free to travel and take you to various destinations in the city, (d) Taxi stand, which is just before the Red CAT bus stop, (e) Perth Underground station, which is 1-2 block of streets away (f) Shopping mall, Restaurants and Cafes. Excellent Customer Service. Polite and Prompt service at anytime of the day. WiFi is a paid service. Therefore, if one only require light internet usage, one can access free Perth City WiFi service available outside and around Perth Underground station (http://www.perth.wa.gov.au/our-capital-city/getting-and-around/free-city-wifi) Bathroom is small. It appears to be for 1 person use, however that is understandable given the prime location.
Great location, helpful staff”
Can't fault the Ibis Perth. I would have liked free wifi but everything else was great. Location right in the CBD, only a short walk to Perth train station and the Barracks St wharf. Our room was a good size and very clean and presentable. I'd forgotten to bring a document with me and the staff were more than happy to print the page for me. The staff were great and helped with everything we needed.
Nice & Clean Hotel”
I'm staying for 3 nights during my winter holiday at Perth,WA . The breakfast only add on AUS3 for 3 nights per couples. Breakfast is quite nice too. Bread & the meal very fresh. Hotel Located at Murray Street which is very near to Wellington Bus & trains station (around 4 minutes). CBD shopping mall just need 3 minutes walking there only. Near to Northbrigde too. Hotel nearby is very safety even after 10pm. All the catalog optional tour put inside near the receiption desk. Will come back to Perth again, nice city & friendly aussie.
Great Location & staff”
I stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely to be so central in Perth. The staff were great as I had to ask them for things as I was there to study for exams before I boarded my flight back to Ireland. They helped enormously with printing but there needs to be WiFi in the hotel rooms as it causes great inconvenience to constantly be going up and down to send emails. But apart from this I cannot fault the hotel especially the location which is right in the heart of the city without the massive city prices. Beds are so comfortable and the rooms are large enough and clean also.
Perfect location for a short shopping break”
We went to Perth to catch a DragonForce concert at the Capitol & this location is just 1 minute walk across from the hotel. Perfect! Hotel is also mere minutes stroll to the heart of the shopping district, the train station, Elizabeth Quay & about 15-20 min walk to the new Bonds outlet store at Watertown shopping mall (or you could take the train - 1 stop from Perth main station. Love the staff who made us feel welcomed & clean facilities. Room and bedding was fantastic! Breakfast was ordinary so I won't be taking it up again in the future. Will definitely return! Thank you!
GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY”
We booked just one night as a stop over before joining the Indian Pacific from Perth to Sydney. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The room although not spacious was very comfortable and clean and had all the necessary amenities. Location was good and we were able to easily walk to Barrack Street Pier to catch a ferry to Fremantal and also to Perth Station to catch Midland Line to East Perth Station to connect with Indian Pacific. Would stay here again.
Everything I needed - Perfect location and fitout”
I had never stayed at this hotel but it is certainly the one I will go to whenever heading to Perth in the future. It is more of a multi-storey motel rather than hotel, as it has no room service, but this is exactly what you want for the price and privacy. It does not need all the other stuff, as its central location in the CBD and close to shopping malls restaurants/bars everything else etc plus being on the free city bus route that comes by every 10-15 minutes so you go wherever you want quick and easy, makes it the ideal place and probably why it is so popular. In Addition, I am in a wheelchair and the disabled room I got was perfect plus getting around in the CBD. Enjoyed so much a place I am normally frustrated at!
Holiday in Perth”
The minor glitch staying with Ibis Perth was that the WIFI was not working. I am an Accor member, so I am entitled to free WIFI. They made it up by waiving some parking for me. So it's all good. Other than that, the hotel was great. Room came with a queen and a single bed, which was great for my family. Walking distance to food and shopping. Special thanks to Karina. She was helpful and always smiling. Certainly made our stay very pleasant.
Clean hotel with good location”
stay here for 4 nights. the hotel is neat, clean and tidy. the location is very good as it's located right at the perth city centre where there are lots of shops and places for food. do take note that the shops here closes around 5pm - 6pm. the breakfast buffet has a good selection of hot and cold, one can choose either cold dishes only or both which is at a different price. dinner was delicious and the choices are quite good. staff was polite and courteous. however, they forgot about the morning call after the first day. room rate is on the high side as one would expect the room size to be bigger for the price that's been paid for. overall, a good stay and will stay here again the next time when i'm around here if the price is right.
Value for money hotel after all things considered”
With only 4 Days/3 Night stay, my wife and I managed to cover many aspects of our holiday by staying at Ibis Murray St. We saved a lot of travelling /waliking time searching for the right outlets as they are all within easy reach of Ibis Hotel. Our full day visit to Freemantle was very satisfying as not only we found Freemantle a quaint seaside resort, we also managed to explore the interesting attractions within a day. The train journey from Perth to Freemantle was splendid. Shopping-wise the wide arrays of shops serving branded goods as well bargain-prices goods satisfied our shopping lust. Weather-wise, our period of visit (second half of Oct) was just ideal as we enjoyed the long spell of sunshine coupled with the cool temperature of 16-26 deg C. Overall, we found Perth a perfect getaway place for holidaymakers. We shall not hesitate to come again in the near future.
Comfortable in CBD”
The stay with my mother at the Ibis was excellent. Many nearby cafes and restaurants, walking distance from Kings Park, close to the central shopping area in downtown Perth. The staff at the hotel from front desk to cleaners were all friendly and helpful.
Small rooms”
i went to perth with my husband and son. we used to live in perth for a few years. so as we came to hotel selection, we knew exactly where to stay. ibis is located in the heart of perth which makes it easy for us to go anywhere we'd like.
WIll stay again in this hotel”
We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Ibis Perth. The only short coming is the wifi there is very expensive and the free on only available in the lobby. Other than that, the hotel is perfect for the stay.
Good Location ”
This hotel is ideally situation along Murray Street and a stone's throw away from the Red Cat Bus Stop which conveniently takes us everywhere. The hotel is also near the shopping areas. Hence I feel that this hotel has one of the best locations in Perth City Centre.
IBIS Murray St Perth 26th -31st July 2019”
Tegan was most helpful and efficient both on the phone prior to my arrival and also in Reception. Ibis is convienently located close to the Bus Port, Train Station as well as Murray St / Hay St Mall. Ibis is also next Reine Square which has a Coles Supermarket Cinema and coffee shops. The Hop on Hop off bus and CAT bus stop is outside. The Perth Mint is within walking distance. The hotel also provides a Restaurant and 24hr room service. Friday and Saturday night understanderbly there was noise from the bars located next to the Ibis, even though I was on the 8th floor I could hear the noise until approx 11pm. The Air Conditioning is not able to be adjusted from your room it remains at a pre set Temp.
Nice hotel”
I moved from another hotel nearby to this one and was so glad I did. The room was small, as one would expect for an Ibis-type hotel, but the bath room was huge. The bathroom had a lot of space obviously wheel-chair friendly and reminded me of a hospital! That was ok for me as it was clean and well kept. There was coffee/tea making facilities, had a window, bed was comfortable, location was good, walking distance to CBD, London Court, shops etc. Downside was there was no free wifi in the room, but not a problem, as with Ibis, I would normally go downstairs and sit around at the lounge to use the free wifi. The street around the hotel is lined with pubs, so in case one needs to walk back to the hotel late at night, there are plenty of noisy drunks to watch out for just in case. With Ibis, I know what to expect and they are quite similar worldwide. Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel and would most likely stay again if I need to come around next time.
