Amazing Stay!”
We stayed 9 days here at Hotel Ikon. It was spectacular! The location is perfect because its away from the busy center. It is just a stroll down to the center anyway! The staff are super friendly. Everything is clean & the pool is fab! Buffet Breakfast has a variety everyday. Will definately reccommend this hotel :) thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic place to stay. clean and spacious, however need to walk a bit to get to the tourist busier side of town and to restaurants. big and comfy beds with nice views. staff were great, checkin was fast. washroom clean and shower pressure was on point. Totally recommend for a great stay in Phuket. Definitely come back!

Asked for an early check in and got in to room at 11.30am much appreciated. Turn right and a short walk to the beach at Karon, turn left and a short walk to the other end of Karon beach and just up a hill and you are at Kata, only 15-20 minutes each way but pass shops restaurants and bars in the way and even though there were no pavements it felt safe on the road even at night. Ikon Phuket is one of the hotels that gives great value for money. Located near Karon beach (about a 5 minute drive away), the hotel has tasteful decor. The cafe has excellent reviews (over 200+ 5 star reviews) and while the layout is a little weird, seeing that it's made up of 3 interconnected buildings, everything else is perfect. Will definitely stay here again when I visit Phuket.

Great Stay... ”
We had a great stay here and would recommend with the below caveats: The room was lovely, very clean, great bed and shower. Hotel facilities were also very good. Location wise, we loved it, it’s outside of the really touristy part so it’s not noisey and you don’t walk out the hotel directly onto people trying to sell you things. This of course comes at the price of having a 15 minute walk to the beach and main restaurants. There’s a taxi rank immediately outside where you can easily get a taxi to anywhere on the island. Also a small travel agent where you can book tours at a fraction of the cost of the tourist areas... just turn right as you leave the hotel and walk for a minute or 2. The daytime staff were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful... the night staff not so much so try to deal with any queries you have early in the day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, but is continental or traditional Thai so don’t expect a fry up. We would definitely stay again!

The room design is the best and cleanliness is good. I got the room on 8 floor and the view is quite beautiful. Breakfast buffet is good and reasonable what we pay. The staff is very good, they take care us a lot include parking my car but it have a small parking lot (6-7 car maximum)

The staff is very friendly and always there to help. Unfortunately there was no soy milk or another plant-based milk but the chef cooked a very tasty vegan dish especially for us every day which even overcompensated this. The room was clean and with modern furniture. The beach and several restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay a lot! Highly recommend!

The location is a bit far to be walking to Karon Beach. But if you’re driving, or have cab allowance, this isn’t a concern at all. The hotel ofcourse has dedicated taxi drivers present at the entrance that will ask you where you want to go. So that’s nice, in case you don’t want to hunt or use the absurdly priced grab cabs(at times they are) The hotel has a nice pool. Clean and Fresh. Beach loungers to lay about and soak up the sun. Open to use from morning to evening (not night) (do ask beforehand if need be) Right besides, onlooking said pool is the cafe/restaurant. Another restaurant present, but due to my stay being in the off season, it wasn’t operational. The hotel is quite large. Getting to your room may require a few elevator switches. They’ll guide you accordingly, and are super helpful at check in and check out about the mapping of the hotel, and it’s facilities. They serve breakfast, which I didn’t have the opportunity to avail, but other travellers reviewed it to be quite a bargain at 150thb(if not included in your room cost) Now the room. Possibly the cleanest places i stayed in my 15 day+ vacation. Stayed only one night, but super impressed. The place is spotless! Draped in whites and greys, with a balcony to bask in for your morning coffee. Definitely recommend staying here for a night or two if you don’t want to stay towards the main road of Kamala Beach. I actually preferred it due to it being nice and quiet.

Great deal but some disappoints”
Our stay in the hotel was almost perfect, quiet place, nice rooms, giant king bed, friendly staff. Our disappoints were two: 1.- During the breakfast they cook the eggs (fried) in advance, then almost all the time you will eat them cold, and they cook the eggs inside one mold, ok, nice shape but wrong idea. 2.- There is not any surveillance over the swimming pool, that's ok and it is written in the swimming pool rules, but they must have a look sometimes. In our stay they were one russian family inside the swimming pool wearing the shoes, and their kids were throwing stones to the pool that they take from the filter in the pool side. It was really disappointed because the parents they never take care about how they were bothering others guests.

The Ikon hotel is great! Starting from welcoming us, cleanliness, quality of the rooms and equipment, service, food (every breakfast had something different) and a modern style! We haven't tried the pool though cause we were constantly going to the city but we believe it is great too! It's a fairly OK walking distance from the beach and the nightlife of Karon Village but thanks to that the nights were so relaxing and quiet, just right to sleep well. Shops are all over the place and you get some local shops but also Tesco pretty much just around the corner (turn right from the hotel and it's less than 5 mins on the left). It is a bit pricey though I guess but the old, low value holiday days in Thailand are gone already. Nevertheless it's still great and we would go there again! If you stay at Ikon you must go to MaMa Jim restaurant which is just amazing! Food was absolutely delicious! Turn right from the hotel and keep right for the next 2-3 minutes, you will find them on the right.
