Hotel is near Venice S Lucia train station, my room air-conditioner is out of order, so, my room is really hot and shower water is too weak, but receptionist said NO ONE can help to solve my room's problems. Then, all problems do not solve till I check-out.
This hotel was just 2 mins away from the main train station. Good location. easy to reach... Love the staff... AND JAMAL the dog was a good welcome...very friendly atmoshere ... the room was cozy... and very pretty toilets... i loved it and will want to come again... best stay... just book it..you wont regret!!!
Excellent location and service”
There is nothing faulty to say about the service but the blanket and pillows provided were too thin - I had to fold the pillow to be able to sleep as it was very thin. The breakfast options were very limited but the coffee was good. The hotel is located in a very convenient location - just a few minutes' walk from the train station and vaporetto stops.
Nice hotel and good location ”
Very nice location and near to st.lucia station. Hotel staff is very good and accommodative.. space wise the hotel is little congested as is with most of the hotels in venice..
Location! Value for money!”
Very close to Venecia St Lucia station (3 min walk), great staff, clean room (smelt a little in the bathroom like sewerage and shower door had previous tenants hair on it) but value for money was worth it so I wasn't bothered. Bedsheets and towels were clean. Peaceful area, wifi didn't work, but had tv with good channels.Good for what I needed (safe clean cheap for 1 girl travelling)
Booked my room 8 months ahead, and requested a room with 2 separate beds. I'm an older father traveling with a 17 yr old daughter. At arrival we were given a very small room, with one bed. No space to put suitcases. Couldn't even open bathroom door completely because it hit the bed. Girl at desk told me that we tried our best to honor your request of 2 beds. Where I come from, if you try your best, you get it done. Especially since I just emailed them a few days ahead that we were coming for sure.
Near train station and bus station ”
rooms are decent size and they offer some simple breakfast. will stay here again.
Hotel is within walking distance from the train station, no need to cross the bridge or etc to reach the hotel, so is quite convenient for us with luggage. Also close to all kind of stalls, food option is a lot. Overall quite satisfying
Best hotel in my entire trip”
The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk from Santa Lucia train station and less than 10 minutes walk to the bus station to catch the bus to Marco Polo airport. Loads of restaurants and shops along the road and a canal is a few steps away. The rooms are clean and spacious, super friendly and helpful receptionists, and they have a resident dog at the lobby which we all absolutely adore.
Charming family run hotel in Venice”
If you're arriving in Venice by train, this hotel's location is ideal as it is just a few meters from the front entrance of the Santa Lucia station, very easy to find as it's on the main street, and no bridges to contend with getting there. Very convenient if you're dragging around a lot of gear. However, this convenience comes at the cost of pedestrian noise coming from the street, so if you can't stand noise, ask for a room in the back. The charm of this hotel is in the way the owners ( a gracious gentleman and his son and daughter) assist guests with recommendations for good restaurants, directions, transportation and the like. They take the time to attend to guests questions very graciously, something you don't see very often at large hotel chains. Now the areas for improvement: 1. Breakfast is basic, with just coffee, juice, croissants and biscotti. It's also a case of the early bird getting the worm, as we were a little late at breakfast and they had run out of croissants and orange juice, and did not bother to replenish the buffet. 2. There is a shortage of working electrical outlets, at least in our room. There were only three outlets to begin with, and one of these was dedicated to the electric fan, and one of the remaining two did not have power, so if you've got a lot of electronics that need charging at the end of the day, you better have an extension cord.
Great place great location”
So happy we stayed here. Right near bus and train station. Clean. Nicolo front desk guy was great. Only con was the breakfast but it was decent enough esp for the price and star rating. Would def stay here again and if you do try the bakery across the street it was cheap and oh so delicious.
We arrived early due to our flight into Italy so the friendly staff directed us to leave our bags in the lobby and gave us a map and helpfully explained how to get to Murano and Burano via water bus. Room was tidy and location was great. We had a good experience and would recommend.
Hotel located near station around 3 mins walk. Clean and room size is good. And the dog in the hotel is so cute.
Easy to find”
Nice view if u can stay in windows room.
Only thing good is the location, not worth the money paid”
Very old and small hotel with very small room and extremely small TV. Only the tiny cramped toilet has been refurbished and has a wooden door. But the shower is not and located across the toilet, has no door but just a plastic shower curtain. One have to be very careful not to splash water out to the room carpet while taking a shower. Breakfast time start very late at 8am to 10am at a very tiny room on the 1st floor. It only have a few small table and fills up very fast. A lot of people have to wait to be seated. Breakfast is just a croisant & a slice of bread, butter, jam, yogurt, mixed fruit in a bowl, juice, coffee. The worse breakfast for our entire 2 weeks Italy trip But the staff is quite friendly and helpful. And not to forget their dog Jamal who greets you which you arrives at the hotel, a very well behave charming dog.
The hotel is located in a good lacation, the room is big but it looked a bit old. the staff are nice and helpful, we counldn't set our air con, so it was hot in our room. the staff said he has set it to 22* but we couldn't feel it at all. however overall the hotel us ok to stat fir short visit.
I would never go back there”
First I walked into a basil Fawlty situation on check in. Second I could not open my window because outside was the biggest and loudest air con in the world. Third I was shown a print out with all my credit card details on it including the security code and the staff laughed when I said I was shocked.
Quite small for single room but comfort”
The hotel name abit different at sign board. Moro is there. Maybe if possible at Agoda, the exact name should be same as the hotel sign board name. Might be in their language which sometimes tourist from other country is not understand. I felt abit cold during winter. Maybe a simple guideline to adjust the room temp would be great.
Great location! ”
As it is just 200m away from the station, we managed to save some time from queing for water taxi/bus. Rooms are located 1 level above ground. And we have to carry your own luggage up the stairs as they do not provide any help. Rooms are small, a little old, but decent enough for 2 adults. Many food and drinks are available right at the door step.
