Standard Japanese Style Room - Non-Smoking
Stayed 1 night in September 2023

"It was really good👍️"”

The view from the room was amazing. Additionally, the 24-hour drink service in the lounge was comfortable. Usually, when staying at a hotel, you have to buy water and drinks, but it was not necessary at this hotel (ryokan?). Also, the breakfast buffet was delicious and had a wide variety of options. My family and I even said, "We want to stay one more night." The only thing that bothered us was the unique smell of the ryokan. If the smell inside the building was like the fragrance of a hotel, it would have been perfect. However, overall, it was really good. If I have the opportunity, I would like to use it again.

Standard Japanese Style Room - Non-Smoking
Stayed 2 nights in July 2023

"The service is amazing ✨"”

Two adults and three elementary school students stayed for two nights and three days. We chose the most affordable plan without dinner but with breakfast. When we entered the room, we were greeted with a beautiful view of the sea from the window. Sitting on the chair and listening to the sound of the waves while looking at the sky and sea was so relaxing. The breakfast was also delicious and served in a spacious and open area with high ceilings. The service was amazing, especially at the sixth-floor lounge for guests. They offered welcome drinks, stylish non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, beer, nuts, and a mini dessert buffet in the evening. At night, they also provided alcohol service. For guests staying multiple nights, they offered rice balls, soft drinks, and draft beer as a light snack. The lunch service was also excellent. The staff, including the new employees, were all friendly and welcoming. The open-air bath for women was quite hot, while the men's bath was a bit lukewarm, which was just right for them. They even provided ice cream after the bath. The pool was also available until 1 pm even after check-out. There were plenty of activities for children, including a stamp rally. We were grateful for the relaxing stay and excellent service. Thank you very much!

Excellent Getaway to unwind ”

The staff were all so friendly, answering all of our questions about the amenities, local attractions, etc. The facilities were definitely a little old but very clean. The panoramic view of the ocean in both the lounge areas and the onsen were breathtaking and made for such a lovely stay for me and my girlfriend. One thing that would knock a few points off from the experience is people that did not drive to the facility will have to do quite a bit of traveling to get to attractions which may eat a few hours from your day. Coupled with the far distance from the stations the dinner service is scheduled quite early so it puts you on a pretty strict itinerary if you want to do alot of exploring especially during the daytime. But overall my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time and would highly highly recommend Ginsuiso for any couples traveling in the area that need a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend away from the city!

Best hotel stay during our trip”

The entire family (with young and old) simply love this hotel. The view is amazing, the room is mighty spacious, the onsen was comforting, and the best part was the happy hour, dessert time and late night snacks. The snacks, dessert, drinks (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic) are all included in the stay!

Wonderful experience ”

The stay experience this time was excellent! The hotel staff were super nice! As soon as I arrived at the hotel lobby, the front desk colleagues immediately helped with the luggage, which was very helpful. The room I stayed in was super spacious and the environment was very clean. The indoor bath had 24-hour running water, with a constant temperature, so I could soak in my own indoor bath and enjoy the view of the sea at any time. It was simply the ultimate luxury! The kaiseki dinner was amazing! It was delicious! The portions were delicate and of high quality! If I have the chance to go to Izu again, I would choose to stay at this hotel.
