    “Truly Relaxing Stay”

Hotel Inatori Ginsuiso was a wonderful surprise, providing a truly relaxing stay that exceeded our expectations over our three-night visit. Booking & Arrival: The hotel was responsive to our booking inquiries and my special dietary requests due to pregnancy. Upon arriving at Inatori Station, the shuttle bus was waiting for us. Although we arrived before check-in, we enjoyed feeding the koi and browsing the souvenir shop. Location & Suggestion: The hotel is within walking distance of a restaurant street and an Aeon supermarket. Unfortunately, the local restaurants were closed, so we had lunch at McDonald's. Given the rainy weather the next day, it would have been thoughtful if the shuttle could stop by the Aeon/McDonald's parking lot en route to the station. It is a pity that the hotel does not offer lunch. While there are a couple of restaurants nearby, their hours seem irregular. For travelers like us who wish to spend the whole day at the hotel and don't have a car, it would be a significant enhancement if lunch were available on-site. The Rooms: We experienced two room types. The upgraded Japanese room was impressive, with a shower designed for safety and comfort. The tatami was surprisingly comfortable, and the temperature control was perfect. For our final two nights, we stayed in a suite with a private onsen. The well-designed layout, complimentary mini-bar, and high-quality POLA amenities made the upgrade well worth it. Dining: The hotel provided a different, non-repeating dinner menu each night, thoughtfully excluding raw foods for my pregnancy. While the portions were generous, we felt the taste had room for improvement. The buffet breakfast, however, was amazing with a wide and delicious variety; a little more daily variation would make it perfect. Service: While not all staff members spoke fluent English, we experienced no issues with communication. The team was consistently polite and eager to assist. We were particularly impressed when they offered us an immediate check-in to our private onsen suite on the day we were transferring from the Japanese-style room, a gesture that went beyond the standard policy and for which we were very grateful. An interesting observation was the cross-functional teamwork, with reception staff helping in the restaurant during dinner service. However, this seemed to result in some inconsistencies. Some restaurant staff appeared less experienced, and each server was responsible for several tables, which is a higher ratio than we've encountered at other onsen hotels. This staffing level subtly impacted the dining experience. For instance, some hot dishes, like deep-fried items, did not arrive at the table at their ideal temperature and had lost their crispness. It was also challenging for the staff to monitor the pacing of each table effectively; we noticed neighboring diners having to follow up on their orders. We want to emphasize that all the staff were hard-working and polite, and we are sure they were doing their best. This seems less an issue of individual effort and more an operational matter that management could review to elevate an otherwise excellent stay.

“Beautiful views and friendly staff ”

This is a very lovely hotel. We enjoyed the sea view from our room and the onsen was really nice and relaxing after a long day. The drinks and snacks at the lounge was great. Hotel had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. We rode our motorcycles there and they were able to let us park at a lot with shelter. The staff were all friendly, and although the room was a little dated, it was clean.

    “Rice will visit Silver again...”

The geographical location is excellent, and for a hotel that has been around for 60 years to maintain its current state is truly commendable! The hotel's meal provisions are outstanding. There are tea breaks available at all times, and cocktails are served in the evening. The hot spring pool is not large, but soaking is not an issue. It opens quite early, so it’s not crowded and is very quiet, likely dispersed over various time slots. The downside: The feeling of sleeping on a straw mat is not very comfortable for me, as it is located close to the Pacific Ocean, making it quite humid, and there is a strong smell from the floor, but children really like it. Individual preferences vary, so everyone can choose for themselves. Breakfast is served from 7 to 9, which is a bit rushed; most hotels serve until around 10. The hotel offers dinner sets, which are a bit pricey. If you don’t opt for a meal, you can buy some snacks from nearby convenience stores after evening activities or look for nearby barbecue places, which are a few in number; we tried one and it was quite good. I couldn't find the laundry room, and the clothes I washed didn’t dry; be cautious before washing! P.S. The staff did their best to help me find a washing machine, which turned out to be a very old model. For families with children, overall, the hotel experience is quite good, aside from the straw mat that didn’t suit my preference. The hotel is 30 minutes by car from Oshima Mountain and Kisaki Coast, and it's the same distance to Shirahama Coast.

    “Summer family trip”

We were taken care of while bringing elementary school children in their middle and upper grades. The staff were all kind and pleasant, and we were able to spend very comfortably. We played in the tide pools at the nearby beach, went to the pool, and enjoyed snacks and drinks in the lounge, making it a thoroughly enjoyable trip. To ensure we could also have fun within the hotel, free table tennis and a kids' stamp rally were provided, and we could also make wind chimes and feed koi, so there was barely enough time to do everything. The large public bath was spacious with plenty of hot water, and it was relaxing to listen to the sound of the waves. The food was delicious as well. I would like to visit again.

    “Perfect for families.”

I took advantage of Agoda's special price, and I was very satisfied with the service for this price. Recently, at accommodations in Japan, I have felt that the meticulous customer service unique to Japan, which I used to experience, has become less common, but here, all the staff were very attentive. The welcome drink service was so generous that I wondered if it was okay to be so lavish. I was also happy that there were rice balls for breakfast. I would like to stay here again.
