Highly recomnended hotel in Wanchai area. Room is great..bedding is excellent”
I very much enjoyed my stay. It is a very recommended address in Wanchai area. The room design is great, the bedding is perfect, the shower are clean and pretty spacious. It is located opposite to La Station, a good coffee shop, and Eric Kayser, french boulangerie.
This Hotel is very nice I just had a problem when checking in which after I check my booking I had book the wrong room type but one member of staff told me they had to sorts of beds in this type but them another staff member told me that I would have to pay more. This was not how I would have expected this hotel to act. I was my mistake but I feel they could of handle it much better.
Really liked this hotel”
This was my first time staying here, but it won't be the last. The staff noticed it was my birthday the day before I arrived and upgraded me. What a lovely gesture! The hotel itself is in a neighborhood that is bustling with markets and restaurants, you don't have to go far to find pretty much everything. Coming from somewhere much warmer, I was a bit cold in my room, but they promptly offered me a portable heater and that took care of that. The only two suggestions I would make is to look into providing a shuttle bus from the Airport Express station and some means of turning off the "automatic all lights on" function that happens when the door is opened. My husband is an early riser and would head down for breakfast before I woke. The moment he opened the door, every single light in the room came on, which I could have done without. Having some means to disable that would be a great idea. Everything else was perfect!
great boutique hotel”
We were surprised at how nice the rooms were. 2 Single beds (bigger than standard), couples can fit easily. Very clean, small details were thought about, and comfortable feeling through. Nice mosaic on the wall. Huge floor to ceiling Windows with electronic curtains had a view of the mountains or other condos in wanchai depending what side you are located. Bang and O speakers had a nice ring to it. Balanced seperate speakers With good highs had a nice ring to it. Mini bar was enough to satisfy one's drinking palette. Good service by the people, quick to your requests. Pool at the rooftop was not as great as expected, small and lacking a pool side bar. But still nice. All in a all a great boutique hotel in the heart of Wanchai.
Attentive staff with modern hotel”
The stay was pleasant at the hotel indigo the room service staff was very attentive cleaning our room every time we left the hotel replacing tea and coffee multiple times a day. The pool is a nice feature with the glass bottom looking down onto the road. The hotel is centrally located and has easy access to public transportation.
Incredible city which never sleeps , so much to do”
Very enjoyable stay at this boutique hotel. Centrally located, walk to everything, close to public transport. Rooms large for HK, comfortable and beautifully designed. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Must check out roof top swimming pool and bar , a wonderful place to relax. And to top it all, great service from the staff. Would definitely recommend!
one of my new favorite hotels in HK”
I didnt have any of the room service but staff was very efficient at check-in and check-out. Great quality wifi made working from the hotel room convienent and the pool was a bit small but in HK its a treat. def am coming back to stay here again
room was tiny with an awkward design”
Very poor value
Best in Wanchai”
Wanchai has evolved, and the Indigo is a perfect example. Great quality hotel in every respect, walking distance to great restaurants and Hong Kong history. We loved it, and stayed many times. Best feature: check out the rooftop pool for a real thrill!
Staff are very friendly!!! Specially the girl with eye glasses and short hair working in the front desk! Furthermore, there are lots of facilities in the room that you dont need to bring so many stuff during your trip. I would definitely stay in this hotel again in the future.
Great stay - would recommend to friends ”
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The neighbourhood has the local feel, yet easy for a tourist to get around with mtr, tram and buses close by, or even on foot. There were plenty of dining options (including good coffee) on foot and a supermarket nearby. I would have appreciated a knife in the room. I was delighted with my room. It had space by Hong Kong standards, was well cleaned and had good products. It was a pleasure to come back to each day. I normally like a lot of naturally light but the curtains were kept drawn and that turned out ok. A big thank you to Rico! He went and got my laundry from the local laundromat after they ignored me because they could not find it. I really appreciated this above and beyond helpful service. I used to live in Hong Kong so I loved that there was a luxe in QRE Plaza where I could enjoy foot reflexology. The handy phone provided was helpful particularly because I like to use google maps when out and about.
Artistic and open with lovely views”
Roof top pool was open but the jacuzzi was closed and bar/club were closed unexpectedly due to maintenance. We chose this place because of these features so we were disappointed. But the stay was perfect otherwise.
Stayed for 4 days, lovely hotel, very well located. very friendly and helpful staff. Well designed, thought out and equipped rooms, one of the best we've stayed in in quite a while. Comfortable bed with good Linens, towels were plush and felt new, good bath products and great design details. Strong black out curtains so easy to sleep in if you need to. Try Tokyo Agura Ramen across the street, wonderfully rich noodles and outstanding pork and very friendly owner. Good french bakery and a coffee shop across the street on the opposite side. Very small gym but good enough for a quick workout.
Neat Design Hotel”
The hotel is really Neat. The location is great less than 5 mins walk to Wachi station (need to go through a busy market, if you have big suitcase it might not be easy) not a very easy spot for getting a cab but I guess it's same for all the places in Hong Kong. Staff is friendly, fast check in and out. The room is very comfortable, well design. The room has everything. The only problem is the DVD didn't work in our room, too bad we even bought a movie thought that we can watch at night. Overall it's a good experience for me.
Bit of style in Wanchai”
Just to the left of the front door you can jump on a double decker bus to The Peak or to the beach at Repulse Bay or to Stanley. No need to schlep to Central :) but if you must it's only a short walk downhill to the tram. Nearby is The Pawn for cocktails and dinner.
Great stay with comfort”
We spent only 1 night at Indigo but it was a nice and pleasant stay. Got an upgrade for Deluxe room, glass corner view with partial view of the mountain. Clean and comfy room, nice breakfast and great location (very close to subway, bus line to Stanley beach and many shops and markets around). I do recommend.
I love this hotel. It is in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. Not large but a good size for such a central location. The staff are always very helpful. Having such a good sized swimming pool on the roof is just great. The weather was good so we swam every day. The roof top bar is a lovely facility. I would definitely stay here again
Boutique Hotel with rooft top swimming pool”
The King-size bedroom comes with electrical blinds for day time privacy and electrically closable dark out curtains for a good night's sleep. The room is also quiet and conducive for getting a good rest at night. The rooftop pool and bar at the upper floor are definitely worth visiting.
Delivered in style”
We had a great stay. We tonight we were just getting a decent hotel in a good location but were pleasantly surprised by how good the service was and how nice the room was. We will definitely be going back!
Hi, I do not ,like it when a hotel advertises a roof top bar and then when as a guest you go to have a drink and the bar is closed for a function, the hotel should let you know before you book in, especially when you book in less than 24 hours before. I will be back,in fact I have already re booked for 24 and 25 Dec, I hope the bar is available
