Great place to stay on a budget
Hotel Isabel Palace is right on the edge of town, but it's a small town, so it benefits from easy access as well as nice views of the countryside and a quiet location. It's clean and smart and great value for money. The staff ar super friendly... But they're also young and inexperienced and you do need to ask to have things done. One negative - the food wasn't good and they've allowed the alcohol licence to lapse - which is a shame, as the roof terrace is perfect for a sundowner and dining.

Very peaceful and friendly place
We were kindly granted an early check-in. It's a family business and all staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, well-equipped and clean. Breakfast was ok. It's a bit outside of town, but this makes it a very peaceful place. We enjoyed staying here a lot! :-)

Best place to stay in Khajuraho
The Hotel Isabel Palace is the most comfortable and well priced hotel option in Khajuraho. The location on a quiet road is close to the center. The Temple Complex is a 15 minute walk or short tuk tuk ride away. The charming and attentive owner will personally show you his garden and well designed hotel. The staff are attentive. The restaurant of adaquate but Raja Cafe in town center is the best eating option

Clean, spacious rooms and great location
The hotel is near to attractions. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is very new.
The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Everything is great about the hotel and rooms are clean. The food is great. I enjoyed the view of sunset on the roof while having dinner. There should be dim lighting on the roof and prefect with soft music. It was too dark to eat with a candle. The boss is very caring and listen to our needs of visiting nearby places. He also showed us around the hotel which made us feel at home. Hope to come again to stay at this hotel.

Decent hotel
nice staff, ok location, ok comfort
My stay was alright. When I showed up to my room there were dead cockroaches on the floor and the patio door wasn't able to close. Given mosquitoes, we asked to change rooms and they did so immediately. The location is a bit far away and in the ''boonies'' so it attracts a lot of bugs (many cockroaches on rooftop at night where people eat). Staff was very helpful and friendly.
