Good Basic Hotel”

This was the third hotel I tried in the Zocalo area. Pretty, basic older hotel. Breakfast in lobby restaurant was a good deal. Local neighborhood bar attached to lobby. Close to Metro, and to the Zocalo. My room had big windows, and a Juliette balcony. Buses run on the south side of hotel, so it's a little noisy in the early morning. Bus did not run at night. Clean, welcoming, and friendly.

good location ”

I was fly to Mexico City from USA... I had only hand baggage, and I found and I come to hotel with out taxi.. Hotel, ok it's colonial fashion, but to old! They should do renovation!!

Good value for money”

The hotel is a little bit old. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not included. I think taking breakfast at a restaurant nearby is a better deal than the restaurant next to hotel lobby. Considering its location about 4 blocks from Zocalo and its price, I considered my stay there a good deal.

Overall ok, but beware.”

When my family and I arrived we were very tired, so we were desperate to put our feet up and relax. The hotel attendant who welcomed us was very unfriendly and didn't explain anything about the charges. When I converted the exchange rate from the pesos they charged us per night to aussie dollars it didn't seem right. Because I couldn't be bothered going through the bill I let it go for the time being. When we were ready to pay for an extra night I brought up my email confirmation from Agoda and my bank statement and asked them to clarify why they charged me double. The lady couldn't really explain and understood that the man who charged us scammed us out of double the nightly rate we were guaranteed on Agoda. She apologised and returned 'some' of our money. Be careful and go through the charges before accepting the room. To top it all off our wifi didn't work in our rooms (only sometimes in the lobby) and the showers rarely had hot water. The saving grace was the security guard who was super helpful and the location of the hotel was very convenient for walking around the historical centre. If you choose to stay with them don't expect the best service. :/

Great location ”

I got room 313, on back side of 3rd floor which is quite. Room is spacious but bed was a bit hard. Location is great, just few blocks from Zocalo. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Fantastic Retro Hotel”

Clean room, perfect location, nice ambience

Very cold rooms but very central ”

Very central. Our room had no window and it was very cold, especially the floor, quit old towels.

Disappointing”

The first night we had booked months in advance but because we arrived one our late from the airport they gave our room away so at 9pm at night we had to find another room.We had been flying for 24 hours. The next booking we had made months in advance and we were given a room on the roof which stunk so bad that we could hardly breath or sleep.That was the only room they had? I had stayed here one year before and loved the room that had lovely old French doors with a balcony.There are very few of them.

Eviter les chambres sur la rue car les fenêtres ferment mal donc beaucoup de bruit. A par ça, l'hotel correspond a sa gamme de prix

역사가 있는 호텔”

앤틱하고 위치 좋고 가격 좋고... 나만알고싶은~ 최신식의 시설은 아니지만 오히려 클랙식한 느낌이 너무너무 좋았다... 청소해주시는 아줌마들이 너무 친절~ 거의 2주를 묵었지만 또 가고 싶다...

Vybydlený hotel v centru”

Hotel je vybydlený a cena za pokoj se sdílenou koupelnou mi nepřišla úplně adekvátní. Lokalizace je ale výborná a nezaznamenala jsem žádný problém.
