stay at the istana in a club room
club room a great experience, food in the club lounge excellent, great service.
we recommend the istana as very friendly experience nothing was a bother any request was immediately attended to, would not hesitate to stay there again, we were greeted welcome back when we arrived very impressed.

A very old and run-down hotel

The hotel room is very old. While most hotels of the same star level has already switched to flat screen TV, they still have CRT TV. TV channels are abysmal. They still have Vision Four channels; very, very old service. No Wifi in the room although they claim they are upgrading. The furniture in the room is old and you have to hold the flush for a full 10 seconds before the toilet bowl will flush properly. There are better hotels for shopping and business purpose for anyone planning to stay in KL. I stayed here just because the seminar I attended is in the same hotel. Otherwise, not value for money hotel.
