The best hotel in male city”
We booked 2 days bfr we stay in resort. It is nearby to the jetty. 2-3 mins walk. Accessible to move around as shops are about nearby. But def no pram friendly. Which we don mind either. The hotel food is marvellous. The breakfast buffet spread is varieties. I love the tuna curry so much. I am gonna miss the flavour. The chefs, waitressess are friendly. They make my daughter smile n happy. They change the bedsheet for u which is impt for me as my baby love to dirty the bed. The room temp is fantastic. The pool is small. don expect huge pool. Otherwise i will def comebck again for Jen. Great hospitality.

Male Transfer Hotel”
We booked this hotel because it had a pool and we wanted to be able to swim. The breakfast was good for Male. The room was slightly small for the price but very clean. In a great location with a free shuttle transfer to/from the airport in less than 10mins, which is all you really want. . For the price we would probably try somewhere else nearby next time and not worry about the pool. But if your looking for a place with a roof top pool this is one of the best. Ps be aware that Male is a dry island.

If you have to break your journey in Male this is a good 4* option. Clean modern rooms, very friendly staff, unpretentious restaurant, with a somewhat limited menu, but fresh and well prepared dishes. Very accommodating for a late checkout.

Very good service by staff. Super breakfast. Lovely sitting out on balcony in the morning but warning lot of salt spray comes in if you leave balcony door open. Comfy beds and nice bathroom but we had some difficulty controlling ac.

We stayed 8th floor, very ugly contruction view. The room is fine and the transportation service is very well organised, the staffs are very friendly. But the hotel itself is small and not look like the “ shiny “ photos on web, don’t expect too much !

I had bad experience when i woke up in the morning and i found all my floor in bed room was wet. I have checked that door in balcony was closed but no idea the water was coming from.

Overnight Stay”
Hotel Jen provided transfer to and from the airport. We reached Male at night so we had to stay overnight there. It was a quick boat ride and then we had to walk about 3 minutes after alighting from the ferry to the hotel. The room itself was rather old and not as spacious. Floors did not feel clean. The highlight was the breakfast, there was a good spread. Since we were staying for a night only, I would not recommend somebody to spend almost $400 to stay here.

Could this really be a Holiday Inn?”
You won't believe that this is a Holiday Inn as it's better than any other holiday Inn; it's better than most 5 star hotels. Pick-up from airport was done efficiently with check-in there also. Transfer by boat (5 minutes) and car (all of 200 meters) was quick and professionally done. The hotel itself is only a few years old so evrything is new and clean. The capital, Male, was in need of a high class hotel and this is it - very stylish and not your typical hotel decor. For a few nights or business travel it's great but for longer trips its best finding a quiet resort/island to relax at. Price isn't cheap but neither are most places to stay of this quality in Maldives. Rooms are smaller than average however beautifully appointed, clean and very functional - you don't want for anything and seriously as you are in the Maldives, why stay long in your room at all!? The Lime restaurants and Panini Cafe are very decent however the jewel is the rooftop restaurant, Azur Lounge, with the infinity pool and gorgeous outdoor furniture. Coconut Spa is good for a massage and quick pampering but if you want a full-on spa experience go to a resort/island spa. Staff were very friendly, even at 1am and always smiling. Overall a great hotel and a very enjoyable stay.

Great Hotel Hop for Maldives Gateway”
My family and I really enjoy the great experience with Traders Hotel Male especially a special mocktail drink at the rooftop restaurant during full moon night . The hotel is also situated in the center of the city of Male. We can have a quick walk around the city (Male people are very nice). The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are really kind and friendly. There is a complimentary ferry transfer. The appointment to other Maldives island is well managed.

A very convenient place to live”
we were five ladies traveling to maldives for the first time. reason we took this hotel is that it's very near to the airport (nevertheless we didn't want an airport hotel) and it's the capital city. after quite a long flying we arrived in male nearly 11 in the evening, so we soon fell asleep after checking in but we still managed to have a glance at the seaview which we didnt' expect to have in the capital city. a very comfortable and convenient hotel with good services and people. we would highly recommend it to our friends and relatives.

Very enjoyable stay at Hotel Jen Malé”
Really enjoyed our brief (2 night) stay at Hotel Jen. Hotel is ideally located one block (2 minutes) from the Malé waterfront and close to boat and ferry transfer points. Very clean hotel and staff were friendly and willing to help. Could not fault facilities or room. We were fortunate to have a 12th floor room with uninterrupted views of the water front and the nearby airport on Hulhulé Island. Be mindful that views from rooms on the lower levels may be blocked by buildings opposite.

Convenient to Airport”
This is a new property and is well designed. The rooms are not large but adequate. Restaurants & food quality is very good albeit expensive. The gym is small with a low ceiling making the elliptical machine impossible to use for taller people. There is no weight equipment except for a bench and dumbbells. All of the equipment is new Life Fitness Gear of good quality. So overall the gym is adequate for a light workout but will get crowded fast with more that 4 people in it. Internet is free but slow and the connectivity in the corner rooms at least is poor. In the public areas it is much better. If you are planning to download any large documents, music, or video files forget it. Overall a nice place and the best hotel on Male but like all Maldives hotels, very expensive. If you need a place as a pre-trip staging area or post trip hangout it's 5 minutes from the airport by free hotel speedboat but Male has limited distractions, there is no beach, so if you want to venture forth you will have to take a water taxi to a beach or such. Also be aware that Male is a dry island.
