Pricey for what they offer ”
I booked an executive room online and they initially gave me a smelly room without fridge or any basic facilities. It was a no smoking room but smell of cigarette smoke was coming out from the bathroom. Later we were moved to a better room when we complained. Breakfast was very basic. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel which we liked as the price was reasonable. I don't think it's a 3 star hotel although the location in Chembur suited me.

Rooms were Nice, Staff was Nice. Very few points to highlight There should be a cue card in the room somewhere visible that reads Dialing extension numbers for reception, housekeeping, restaurant etc. because for knowing such information i had to step down to reception leaving infants in the room. Even to get Wifi Password.. When a hotel boasts about its wifi service, then the password and userid should be given with the room key itself. Atleast 2 Room Key cards should be given , I had to constantly call someone to unlock the room whenever i had to leave my kids inside and step out for small work. because i cannot just take the keycard as the electricity turns off and kids are inside.

Very small room”
Booked for one night after checkout from Fern Residency. Got a very small room, 10ft x 12 ft, Bed lamp was just in centre of the bed and hit on my head too. No Mobile or Laptop charging point on either side of the bed. Extension board was arranged by Hotel receptionist ( indeed helpful person). For online. they give small room only, room size was not mentioned before booking. Breakfast was limited with 2 items only and tea / coffe, whereas Fern has buffet with lots of items with 10% more price than this. Restaurent was not opened so food was arranged in room, and that too with room service charges apart from GST. (In Fern, restaurent was opened). Management should not do partiallity for online booking and with Direct booking. While check out, manager was not present to make bills.

Curtains, Bedding, Towels were torn, the room was extremely unclean, the fittings in the washroom were broken, A/C kept making noise constantly. Guy at the reception thinks he's sherlock which is ironic since he doesn't even know what state the room is in. Doesn't care perhaps. The washroom smelled of pee and the hand spray wouldn't work. The frame of the window was covered in bird poop and the windows wouldn't latch shut. Lighting fixtures in the room were broken. The TV reminded me of Michaels home TV (the office). Pillows were half size. Basically everything that was in the room was bad. Sheer waste of money and time. DO NOT BOOK!

Worst experience ”
Staff is rude, they keep me waited for 30 minutes for checking. They don't even trust Agoda website, they want to book hotel via direct call. They don't travelers good they think people are fraud and loot their money. Food is also worse, not a single good thing about this hotel. I shifted to another hotel via MMT.

Rooms not spacious and no cleanliness and staff was very rude. Too pricey and the hotel is not even 2 star and room tariffs are as of a 5 star hotel. Please do not book this hotel.

We booked three Executive Deluxe rooms and they were nothing like the pictures. The decor was old and terribly maintained. The bathrooms were really old and it was thoroughly disappointing. I would never recommend this place. The only good thing was the restaurant. The food was good and so were the staff. But would never stay in the dingy hotel again. Sorry!!

Good Place to stay in Harbour-line Suburb of Mumbai”
The location is at the heart of Chembur, walking distance from local-train station. About half an hour drive to reach Mumbai CSMT train terminus, very close to LTT train terminus and 45 minutes to airport. A nice place to stay with a good restaurant and a cafe. However, note that the outside area is like any other market place of Mumbai suburb, which are often not very clean as it should have been.

Good but can improve on cleanliness and not be stingy on some aspects”
Jewel of Chembur has a convenient location for those who want a place close to Chembur station. The rates are reasonable, but we stayed in Fern Residency 3 weeks back and the room was much better and at a similar price. To me the most disappointing aspects were a) We were on the 4th floor and there was a toilet stink in the corridor. I mentioned this twice to the staff but nothing was done b) Only 1 bottle of water was kept in the room. This for 3 residents, 1 adult and 2 children. Almost all the hotels I have stayed in recently (in Mumbai, Goa and Hyderabad) gave at least 2 bottles and on request often gave several more free of cost and that too when I was only 1 person. At Jewel of Chembur when I asked for 1 more bottle, I was given a bill for 1 bottle mineral water (though to be fair, they gave me this free when I complained). In short, JoC could do better on multiple fronts.

It is nice hotel. For tourism it is not in a good location, but we chose here because our train's last stop was 'Lokmanya tilak terminus.' Very close to that station. But staying was pleasant.

Over all a good hotel and enjoyed the stay, however if you are staying over a weekend there are two clubs on the first floor and l felt the bass and heard the music on the fifth floor. Ok if you are a heavy sleeper. :)

I think this hotel is overpriced for the offer available...compared with what I saw in their website before booking the hotel and what is really available was disappointing. Some of the staff in the reception and restaurant can improve in their attitude to customers.

The hotel is good, the air con is great, the in house movies and tv channels are very good. The internet is very reliable. I would give it a good three stars, not 4. There is a lot of traffic noise and it does not stop until about 11pm.

No Jewels inside”
I assumed it meant with the hotel name... but was disappointed after I checked in. Small rooms and pathetic bathrooms..breakfast also is not that great, standard items and not much variety. Would not advise for family stay. If you just need a place to put up for a night, it is fine but not a tourist hotel definitely. Avoid taking your families to this hotel just because of the kind of rooms they have otherwise did not observe anything otherwise.
