STAFF BEHAVIOR IS BAD ”
simply including managers all staff not answerable and cant manage customers have seen several instances during my stay In house restaurant staff are just roaming and not servicing to guests

Property looking excellent but the staff behaviour is unacceptable . no one cares guest . particularly the manager in front desk he will say he is from Taj but his behaviour is not like Taj employee. the staff including bell boy no body answerable and they are irresponsible . the in house restaurant is good but again the staff is useless . they simply roam in the floor no body cares guest . like minimum decency like serving water . attending guests etc.. mainly I have observed they don't have fixed allocation of rooms according to room catogiry . I have suspected and still not sure the provided room is same as actually what I have paid .I have asked the same in front desk he said they don't have like those fixed system to show guests about room allocation . one more safety issue is on 7 floor to go to room 711 there is a emergency exit sign placed and it is completely against safety regulations it was hit my head several times simply I will not recommend even it have good property waste of money with their customer service

Best hotel in Allahabad”
Comfortable, clean and central
We were in Allahabad for a wedding and we were glad we stayed at the Kanha Shyam as the hotels where our friends stayed were not very nice. Our room was spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was very good

Location
Not great, very bed service, lazy staff and biggest thing is that they are charging for extra bed and not providing it, i.e. using sofa as extra bed. Why do guest then pay for this extra bed?

Generally good decent hotel with helpful and friendly staff, however to be on par with the european 4 star hotels this one needs some improvement. Cockroaches were found twice in our bathroom (although this may be a problem with india in general rather than the hotel) and the wi-fi is expensive (should be free) and not very fast or stable, keeps cutting out and disconnecting.

Nice facilities-slightly run down rooms”
Staff suer helpful, good food
The rooms are quite run down and smell stale in parts. I like the hotel as it has good food and is well located. The staff is also super nice and very prompt to help with requests. High volume of guest means they have nice buffets. As a woman staying alone I felt perfectly safe.
