So-so, improvement needed ”
Everything is nice and I saw some improvement after few times stayed at here. Drinking machine for drinking water is provided. Curtain is changed to a nice and thicker one. Wi-Fi still so bad, TV channel accessible but something wrong with the TV as the TV light is so dim. But my worst experience is when I go out to find something to eat around 6pm the staffs at counter asked us to be back soon, latest on 8pm. Or else they will lock the main door. Urmmmm... What???! She want to go back home earlier to sleep isn't ? This makes me feel so frustrated actually.

Been here 2 times already and both times no given towel. The second time here our deposit was deducted with the reason our room is messy (didn't tidy up the bed). Bad experience here. Also there is no elevator, the stairs are to small to step and high. Not recommended for those with lots of luggage.

Noise on deck, Cant sleep whole night. Orginal room price before Promotion are actually actual price. Offered 70% on agoda was a big lie. Don't falls to this trap

The hotel is about 5 km. from the centre of Kota Kinabalu. The hotel is very close to the pick-up point for mini-buses into K.K. (about 50 meters) and it costs 2 ringgit one-way. For a wireless internet connection it is better to be on the 1st floor than the 2nd floor. My room with a double-bed (a "queen") has a good bathroom, good air-conditioning, good wireless connection, comfortable bed. There is a TV but I have not tried it. Room cost about 11 Euros per night booking on the internet; it would have cost about 14 Euros per night paying directly at reception. Nice friendly hotel-staff.

Suitable for budget travellers”
Good and helpful staff (especially the lady), near with convinience shops, restaurants and marts, around 10km from city center but you can get the bus around 50m,lousy Wi-Fi connection,worth the pay, last but not least it's more comfortable if the window curtain can be thicker because the sunlight too strong and shine into the room on afternoon.

Smell of sigaret smoke in the room”
The woman at the counter was great. The room was small, but clean. However, there was an awful smell of sigarets in the room. As if 10 people had smoked in the room just before we arrived. We had two rooms with windows. In one room we were able to get rid of the smoke, in the other one not so much, which was horrible. Especially for kids, this is very unhealthy. Sheets and towels were clean, but had holes in them.

It's OK if you travel alone”
The room is surprisingly not that bad, surrounded by eateries, 5 minutes walking distance to night market, TV functioning good. The only thing is no WiFi.
