The room is quite okay but the entrance to the lobby is by climbing quite a high staircase :( Burden if you have many bags, big and heavy luggage. The lobby is operated by guys. A few guys are also "lepak" at the counter and entrance. Not recommended for girls, women and families with senior citizens and young children. It seems like "not a safe place" for ladies (even though it is maybe safe) but I will not recommend ladies to rent. Solo travellers (adult men) are ok to rent... Peace...

You still can stay more cheap than this one with confortable environment. There was a lot of bugs such as coakroach in the room...so disgusting. Its not about i'm afraid of coakroach but think coakroach love wasted food so means the room is not clean. Thats all.

the triple room was very small, towel not provided, if you want the towels, you need to pay rm10. soap, toothpaste were not served. basically you need to bring a lot of things if you want to stay here. cleanliness was good safety was average. the door knob was old and still using key. if you just want to rest for a night, this hotel is a good choice.

Hotel Kenangan is the best budget hotel. In our vacation it is more go for shopping. And we only stay at Hotel late Evening until Morning. Save for money.

The best thing is WIFI services, full bar at room and secured. Water heater and local channels available. It was not too bad although we feel insecure in the room especially at night, aircond not cold as the next room, only local channels available with one Thai channel without sub, Astro only available near front counter. Be prepared to climb up and down through stairs, no lift and front counter would be right after the stairs. Too bad for those who is having small kids with stroller or old people with wheelchairs. Although the hotel is located beside toy shop, it is not welcoming to children. We did not include breakfast so unable to comment regarding food.

upon entering the room, with a key that is bent and making it difficult to turn the knob, i was greeted with eau de cochroach. but i didnt see it. a few minutes later , after mentioning about the cochroach smell, there it is showing itself saying ' hi...welcome to hotel kenangan'. as such we arrived in the morning at 8 am and by 7.15 pm the same day we left for another hotel although i had paid for 2 nites. never again.

have a nice room, but i think not very comfortable for person who want to spend more time in the room. it,s suitable for traveler who just need a place to put things before wandering around and come back to sleep. it doesn't have a wide free parking lot. it also doesn't have cafe. we were not given towel. there's also no kettle in the room. as i say earlier it just nice for lone traveler who just need a place to put things and sleep.
