Great location and breakfast plus friendly staff
Stayed here for 3 nights in the end of July and it was lovely. The location is on quiet street but very close to everything in the city centre. Breakfast was great although no usual bacon was served but instead Finnish sausages. There is no kettle in the room but can be requested from reception who are very eager to help you. There is a guest computer in reception and you can request reception to print your documents if needed. All in all very clean and quiet so you can expect a relaxing sleep.

Design hotel in the heart of Helsinki
Beautiful, value for money hotel right in the middle of Helsinki. Few minutes from market square, parks, department stores, railway and bus stations. This time I had the smallest room which felt bit cramped, yet still pretty and functional. I can highly recommend the bigger rooms! Deadly slowness of the elevators is the only minus.

Hotel-service ok but interior too old
Bedsheet did not cover the 4 sides of the mattress , toiletseat was partially removed and dangerous to sit on , lift too small , difficult to find the lift for first-time visitors , carpets all over and not good for asthmatic people , no real cabinet in the room .

Loved this hotel
GREAT LOCATION, very nice staff, breakfast was unbelievably good (I'm gluten free- there were no less than 3 different kinds of GF bread each morning and every single item was labeled as to whether it was GF, Lactose Free, or Vegan). Coffee was good, juice good, interesting local items i.e., mushroom salad and lactose free milk cheeses, several great jams, including an apple/buckthorn that I thought my husband was going to make himself sick over! Bar was great! Loved the local gin made craft cocktails. Our particular room seemed awkward in layout and small (tiny clothes hanging space and no suitcase rack) but the bathroom was NOT small and had quite nice toiletries. We ate in the adjoining Italian restaurant once and had dessert/coffee a second time and can highly recommend it! If we are fortunate to return to Helsinki in the future, I would want to stay there again!!

Clean and comfortable room
Hotel is centrally located at the heart of Helsinki within walking distance to all attractions in the city centre. Arriving or departing from the hotel is also extremely convenient, especially if you're taking the ferry from West Harbour (tram stops directly in-front of hotel) or train from Central Station (minutes walk to the station). Rooms were not too extravagant. It was well-furnished but I thought that some items such as the wine platter was a little redundant and took up valuable room-space. The 'cupboard' was a little interesting design-wise but maybe a little inconvenient functionally. Staff at the front desk were professional and polite but that was contrasted by the staff at their restaurant. A lack of reservation for dinner would seem to cause displeasure and much consideration among themselves would take place before you're allocated a seat - something I found puzzling where in the hour and a half when I had my dinner there, I observed that the restaurant was not packed. The food however, was excellent and worth the wait-staff's unhappiness. If you want to skip the unpleasantness, room service from the restaurant's menu is available.
