Great location Opposite beach. Lovely walk through gardens. Good variety of breakfast. Nice clean rooms with balconies. Friendly helpful staff. 2 pools. Would stay again

Booked early with Agoda but Hotel does not communicate with agencies. I even tried to email to ensure I was on the ground floor directly to their website but no answer.

Had its Day. Time for update
Have stayed numerous times at this Hotel. This time i found it to be very TIRED and dirty. Sheets need bleaching very marked and Pool Towels do they honestly wash them ???? Time for a revamp. As for the Pool sunbed hoggers OMG. If you haven't sneaked down and put your belongings on a sunbed you wont get one, even though their are numerous signs up saying if not used within 30 mins your towel will be removed. I took it upon myself to remove a towel after 3 hours of watching it vacant (as most of them are ) and when the ANGRY man returned just before lunch time he lost his cool. Abused and put his arms up in the air at the pool boy. I am assuming he slips the pool boy money as most of these people do. What it comes down to I pay the same amount of money to stay their and i too want to use a sunbed and these HOGS reserve their sunbed and dont come back for hours. Also the clientele seems to be Overweight retired Australian people who must go year in year out and think it is their own place. Im Aussie too but really !!! Gripe over wont stay again

A great place to stay, and situated on the beach in Legian.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed Hotel Kumala Pantai. The staff are wonderful and always courteous. Fantastic location, great restaurant with other very good restaurants nearby. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Good sized fridge as well. On the beach in front of our hotel is the perfect place to view the sunset. Bintang bintang

We enjoyed our stay immensely
The only problems we found were difficulties in accessing lounges pool side as people would put towels on them early in the morning and keep them occupied despite them not being there for hours on end. We were also far from impressed with the coffee (latte/cappucino) - not huge complaints and overall the location was great and the staff excellent

Stunning gardens
Kumala Pantai has the most magnificent gardens that are kept in pristine condition. They are fogged regularly so as to eliminate mosquitoes. The Hotel is beautifully located near to restaurants and the beach. Staff are very respectful and welcoming without being intrusive. This hotel seems to attract regular clientele with many visitors purely there to laze around the beautiful swimming pools. Breakfast is plentiful and includes a great variety of western and local foods. Top hotel and highly recommended.
