Charming hotel, great location, but not very pram/wheelchair friendly
Situated smack-bang where it all happens in Stureplan, it's a perfect central dispatch point for all your cultural, social, touristy, as well as family-oriented activities. The hotel is also very charming and royal, adding to the staying experience. Unfortunately it is an absolute nightmare for those with prams/wagons. Corridors are narrow, getting in/out of the hotel is via stairs only, and elevators are too few (timing is everything when it comes to small kids). Also, breakfast has the poorest selection of food I have tried anywhere outside dirt cheap hotels. So if you're with small kids and need to maneuver around with prams - avoid. Which is a shame since family-friendly parks and activities are all around you, making the hotel location perfect. If you're single, couple, or with older children, the hotel is perfect!

Very suitable for our visit, nice staff and pleasant room. Beds were excellent. Bathroom and floors were a bit dated. All in all, a nice stay.

Stay At the Kung Carl Hotel Stockholm
Dear Agoda team, We had a wonderful time. The Hotel is beautiful and one of the oldest in Stockholm celebrating 150 years this year. From the moment of arrival till our departure we loved our stay. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was spacious , beautiful laid out had everything what we required and very comfortable beds. The bathroom again was spacious , clean nicely tiled and totally adequate for our needs. We loved it . The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful . Again the breakfast room was nicely laid out and very welcoming and homely. My friend and I loved it. It was self service and one could eat as much as one desired. We are vegetarian and myself don't have dairy products either but the Hotel catered for this as well. It was wonderful . We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and feel free to pass our comments to the Kung Carl. Please tell them about the Receptionist Daniela and the young man who's name unfortunately can not remember. If I should return to this wonderful city one day I definitely would love to stay there again. Kind regards Christiane Marlen
