Great hotel but confusing check-in”
Staff, location, comfortable rooms
The couple who own the hotel are absolutely lovely and you can tell they put their heart into making your stay as comfortable as possible. Their English is a bit limited but it was enough to communicate the basics. Checking in however was confusing as on Sundays, we could only check in between 5-7pm. We arrived at 5:30 and no one was there. We saw a number on the side and assumed that it meant to call it if no one was there (the signs were only in French). So I had to ask a passerby who spoke close to no English to call the hotel owner for me. Through that, we managed to get into the hotel but still had to wait another half hour for the owner to arrive. Bad first impression of the hotel but after actually getting to our cute room and meeting the owners, we were happy with the hotel.
