Built in 1889 as a private mansion, this exclusive 5-star boutique hotel is undoubtedly located in the most fashionable area of Paris. Hotel Lancaster is in the Golden Triangle with the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées, Avenue Montaigne, and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré - the spot to go to for all the luxury brands. Also within walking distance are the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais and Petit Palais, Orsay Museum, Jacquemart-André Museum, Palais de la Découverte, and of course, the Eiffel Tower. With an interior that displays a great collection of paintings and antiques, Hotel Lancaster is rich in history and represents the most refined Parisian culture. The restaurant, Monsieur Restaurant, led by Chef Sébatsien Giroud, is one of the most exquisite restaurants in Paris featuring seasonal products. Along with its 45 elegant guestrooms and 11 suites, the hotel has a beautiful interior garden, private fitness area, Wi-Fi access, 24-hour room service, a private car park, laundry service, and concierge.
"The staff were very considerate about it."

Superb Service and Quality”
We are very happy with our experience staying in Hotel Lancaster. The primary highlight would be the very friendly, interactive and accommodating hotel staff, especially those at the reception desk, the restaurant, and at the entrance - they are very professional! The person who help us find antiques dealers deserve a special thanks, we were spending one of our best time in Paris with his recommendation. Overall, the service represent a true example of excellent hospitality. With the previously mentioned, we would be delighted to stay at this hotel again during our next visit in the future, And we would recommend others about the outstanding quality this hotel has to offer.
Best Hot Chocolate ever!!!! :)”
Had the most relaxed and comfortable stay at The Lancaster. The staff from the Front Desk to the Concierge and the Bell desk were enormously kind and helpful! We loved the room, which was really spacious and beautifully done up! It was our first visit to Paris and the choice of hotel made our experience even more memorable. The location is fantastic as well... I fell in love with the Parisian penchant for Hot Chocolate...and can vouch for the fact that The Lancaster's Hot Chocolate is the best I've had because I drank it everywhere I went (we were in Paris for 7 days) Please do try it! :)
Excellent service”
The stay was impeccable except for one minor thing. My sister got a sharp electric burn when she touched one of the light switches... Nothing serious but she was very surprised. The staff were very considerate about it.
fantastic boutique feel hotel in centre of paris”
Very warm and welcoming staff made this stay fantastic. Cannot fault location within walking distance of all the best shopping - according to the wife. Rooms were small but well equipped with awesome character
Awesome ! ”
My husband and I brought our 18months old baby along. The room was great! Clean and classic . The staff speak very good English and friendly. We enjoyed our 8days stay with Lancaster. It was pleasant to be with them. I will definitely be back! Thank you Lancaster!
Beautiful Parisian traditional decor and class”
A variety of rooms means everyone can find something for them. Maintained nicely and keeping the Parisian character and vibe. Great value for the price bracket. Staff were wonderful and so willing to please. Great place, quiet and classy.
Fantastic Hotel”
We are seasoned travelers and spend a fair amount of time abroad. The service offered at the Lancaster was very remarkable. The receptionist, concierge and even the bellhop were incredibly engaging and interesting to talk to. They were also very knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask. The rooms themselves were fantastic, large and had all the amenities that we needed. Just one thing to note - we stayed on the first floor facing road. Late at night (+-11pm) they close the front doors (for security). As this door is opened and closed (as guests come and go) it was quite loud within our room. This was not a concern at all but on the first night we did wake up wondering what that noise was. It did not attract from how nice the hotel was and we will definitely be staying there again.
Romantic hotel in Champs Élysées🌹”
This hotel made my day in Paris ❤️ I got a super good rest within elegant atmosphere. - If you enjoy high art of cocktail, the bar on the ground floor is a must. 🔥 - I bought 2 bottles of wine during the trip, so I needed to pack them safely in case of damage. When I asked at the counter, an employee kindly gave me bubble wrap :) Merci again. - Some facilities(e.g. Bathroom light, faucet), however, seemed to be in need of repair (It was no problem for me, though.) - Toothbrush, toothpaste, and bath towel were not included in the amenities.
Good value for money”
Good hotel representing better value for money than other Paris luxury hotels (we had a lovely suite on the 6th for significantly less than a standard room in the Georges V or the Mandarin Oriental). Only disadvantage is the bar closes at midnight if you want a late nightcap. Recommended.
So nice and elegant”
This time is my second visit to Paris. Last year we stayed the Hotel Lancaster, too. And we or I got a deep friendship between ourselves. Avenue du Champ-Elysees is so noisy and many peoples exsit. But the Hotel Lancaster made me calm and relux. More over easy to take Metro Line 1 Gerge V within 4 minuets walk. It is great and fantastic. Have to say thanks a lot from my heart content. Merci!
Great customer service, location”
Where can i start. The staff greet u warmly when u enter. Some of the staff really stand out in my mind. Coupled with that french accent, hard to resist the charm. The food at the breakfest buffet, although lackin in overspawn variety, which in this case is a good thing, more than make up with their exquisite french quality selection. Great decor, class, n especially adore the french bread. Nice touch to lay out fresh bread spread for each table. Room wise, theres an interesting story which earns itself few more points in my book. The housekeeper broke my makeup case lid on time and its really just a small part of this. The hotel so kindly replaced it with a new one with a beautifully written apology note. Now i have never seen this response in my country, so lancaster hotel, i tip my hat to u. All in all, i have no qualm about anything whatsoever, would not hesitate to return again.
Fabulous service, hotel needs renovation”
The Hotel Lancaster location is great and the service is unsurpassed. The hotel itself is in need of a complete renovation. The rooms are tiny by any standard, almost the size of a closet. Our room had no drawers to unpack our folded items so the maid service put them on the floor of the closet and put our shoes on the floor of the room. The wifi is free but we had to go into the hall to be able to use it - we were not able to connect in our room. The air conditioning barely worked and we were unable to open our windows to cool the room down because the noise from the street was so loud. Guests are allowed to smoke in the hotel so you could not escape the smell of cigarettes and cigars.
Great stay experience in Hotel Lancaster”
I have to say the 4 nights staying at Hotel Lancaster could be one of my best hotel experience in the life. First of all it's very convenient location which you can walk in 3 min to Champs-Elysees and do the crazy shopping in the neighborhood, which I believe is one of the most important thing in Paris. Secondly the staffs are all very nice and helpful for the staying and assistance on your needs. One of the examples is that the concierge recommended a very nice Michelin one-star restaurant for me and I did enjoy the dinner at my first night stay in Paris. I also want to say the room is small but very comfortable for staying. Everything in the room is well prepared and the shower water is very powerful - that's very important for a good stay too. I also tried the Michelin one-star restaurant "Table at Lancaster" but feel it's just OK honestly speaking. Anyway I will definitely stay here again when I visit Paris next time and would love to recommend to my friends for the Paris experience.
A nice hotel”
we stayed there for seven nights and were offered an upgrade to a high floor room with balcony and a view of the tip of the eiffel tower. the staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was large with a huge washroom and all the necessary amenities. other than we found out our room door was not properly shut one night (probably after the turndown service) when we returned, and another time when the front desk misplaced our room key in their key box so they could not find it (eventually they did), we enjoyed our stay. but there were two things that future guests should be aware of. one is the noise isolation between floors are not that good maybe due to the construction of this old building. for two nights we had to endure loud music penetrating from the room below where a less than considerate fellow guest stayed. another thing is on rue de berri where the hotel is located, there are quite a few clubs and venues tailored to gentlemen. for those who want to enjoy a quiet paris at night, this is something to be considered.
5 stars all the way”
We stayed in a really pretty room, and very big to boot. Very good service, personalized touch. This is a hotel to which will will come back to if ever we are in Paris again. Very clean and safe. Few steps away from the metro and shopping street!
