Unforgettable stay”
We absolutely loved our stay here.....it was simply unforgettable. The views from our room and the hotel were simply breathtaking....the staff were outstanding.....so warm, kind and helpful.....fantastic breakfast.....beautiful spa and pool.....it's just beautiful and I can't wait to hopefully go back one day!

Great 5* experience but very much focussed on "upselling"”
Hotel and staff are great, however the upselling focus did not feel good; booking including breakfast but still a full charge €60 for breakfast in the room for instance. This is not what we expect with the current rate and 5* quality.

Exceptional but expensive”
Stayed here twice now and both times left feeling poor. But in saying that wow!!!! what a place. The views, service, amenities are second to none. Highly recommended would definitely stay again. But be cautious on what you spend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Agavi in October and can’t speak highly enough about the staff/service and facilities - not to mention the spectacular views from our room and just about everywhere on the property! We’re grateful to the hotel staff for being attentive and going the extra mile to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The buffet breakfast was amazing and a great start to each day. Another plus was the complementary shuttle bus, which made getting into the town centre very convenient. The spa was also a highlight and perfect for relaxing before or after a long day of exploring. We felt it was well worth our money staying at this beautiful place! In hindsight, we would have stayed longer in Positano just for the hotel. Thank you, Le Agavi!

Rooms infested with ants, great views”
Upon arrival we were blown away! The views couldn’t be more spectacular, prime location and property. However, our room was overrun with ants. I get it, you’re on a hill, you’re in “nature” as staff explained but this wasn’t normal. They were in our bed, got in our luggage, everywhere!! After telling a few people about it, nothing was done. Really disappointed in the property because i do believe they have a great thing going but need better management to handle these types of issues. Oh and lastly, there is a funicular elevator which is fantastic the first time you take it.

Perfect stay, paradise!”
Upon arrival the hotel didn’t seem much - you are dropped off at a lay-by just outside of Positano but don’t let that put you off! Everything about this hotel is stunning.. each room has a balcony with sea view, every member of staff could not be more helpful! They remember the tiniest things about you e.g the first night I said I was gluten free - when I turned up to breakfast the next morning two staff came up to me and told me they had a special table with gf food for me. The setting is spectacular and rather nice because it’s veru difficult for anyone not staying in the hotel to get in and use the facilities. Giuseppe by the pool was an absolute star, catered to our every need and always on hand for whatever we wanted. Only thing is I wouldn’t recommend if you get tired walking easily or have sold legs knees as you need to walk up and down stairs for where ever you want to get to. Apart from that absolute perfect stay for us, we will be back!

Not a Five Star Hotel”
The hotel has not been updated for 20+ years and I could not class this as 5 star. The rooms are very dated. We arrived and the Beach Bar was a building site so we could not use it. We were woken every morning at 7.30 by cleaners banging doors outside our room while accessing a store room. Our bedroom door was warped and let light and noise in. The position of the hotel was good and the views were stunning however considering what we paid I would not use this hotel again.
