Cosy Hotel Well Placed”

This is a convenient hotel on the south bank down a quiet side road close to Luxembourg Gardens, within walking distance of the major attractions. This was particularly welcome as the whole transport system was on strike. In normal times it is easy to get the RER B from CDG airport to Luxembourg, which is only a hundred metres away. The staff were friendly and the room clean and comfortable.

Well located for Jardin de Luxembourg and Boul. Saint Germain. Good restaurants in the area.

A hidden plance”

I stayed there for one night and enjoyed a peaceful break though located in the busy area of Luxembourg. The area is full of restaurants, the Luxembourg garden at 3min, book stores, etc. Great place for hanging around in the 6e arrondissement and explore even more away other areas. Tube and RER at the corner plus of course dog on sidewalks, this is part of the charm. The hotel has an interior courtyard, nicely designed, the hotel is worth what it costs.

Good”

Small but good enough, we already chose a higher room category which is slightly bigger than the basic room but was still unable to open both our suitcases on the floor l, I guess its just Paris being an expensive place. It was our last leg of our Europe trip and was missing Asian food terribly, and there were plenty of asian choices on the street

Charming”

The hotel was very charming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and very kind. The A/C was not the best... but it cooled off in the room with the windows open in the late evening. The hotel is in an excellent location with so much to do and the value was pretty good!

Good Hotel but a bit overpriced”

the hotel is good in itself, elegant even, but there are better options in this price range in st germain des pres. boulevard st michel is not the desirable part of this area (maybe 50 years ago it was). they tried to charge us for breakfasts we never had, initially refused to take it off the bill, did not give a receipt and tried to charge it again. it was all settled (unless i find another charge on cc) but it was not very nice. mixed stuff, some very helpful. the sound isolation is poor and some doors slam out of control. overall a decent stay.

Good location ”

Perfect location. Near by Luxemburg park and the Metro station. Many good restaurants and cafes near by hotel

Good service, but bad bedding ”

Overall, it was a good stay. However, I have booked a room with a double bed, and have been given a room with two single beds put together. Since the two single beds were fitted with castors, the two beds kept moving away from each other. Didn't sleep during the entire stay, staff didn't propose anything to improve the situation

The reception was warm and friendly, the services for the room and breakfast were excellent and the location was perfect!

Great Hotel In All Respects”

This was our second visit although our first was 4 years ago . It was just as we remembered .Great in all respects . Fab location , short walk to Luxenbourg Gardens and only 15 to 20 mins walk to Notre Dame . Just lovely . Would go again and recommend others to as well .

It was fine. The upgrade to a room with double beds was awfully steep though (60 EUR). But it was a nice location and had a good new bathroom.

Excellent location. Great restaurants nearby. Hanoi restaurant Vietnam was excellent.

Bad Internet”

I did not enjoy my stay at the hotel. I was there primarily for business and I found that the internet was incredibly slow and of extremely poor quality. I did not think the room was comfortable or aesthetically pleasing.

L’hôtel est bien situé et la literie était de qualité. La douche était grande et spacieuse. Je regrette cependant le chauffage qui ne fonctionnait pas, l’alarme incendie qui a été déclenchée par erreur par un membre du personnel et la pression de l’eau du lavabo de la salle de bain qui était impossible à gérer. Il n’y a également aucune prise électrique sur les côtes du lit.
