Small but functional with a decent size work desk. Room amenities are basic (plastic cups, no kettle, limited electric taps, body shampoo are in small sachets etc) so bring your own if you have luggage space. Walls and ceiling are thin so you can hear conversation from next door and people walking upstairs. Staff are friendly and safety should not be a concern.

Horrible stay Very noisy. Met some not recommended guests there . Only positive thing was the night receptionist. As the trainee day girl receptionist seemed to be in the clouds ... I regret this stay

Perhaps it was less expensive in Paris but compare with other hotels at other European cities, 2 stars Hotel Le Twelve was costly to me. I chose because it was not very far from city metro and Gare de Lyon (high speed train station). Pros a. 10-15 mins walking distant to city metro (Porte de Vicennes) b. Friendly staff c. I think it was located at residential district, it did not feel dangerous when walking back at night. d. Room facing internal courtyard was quiet. Cons a. No lift (elevator), I had to carry all my luggages up to a narrow staircase. Luckily my room was only at the first floor. b. Room was bit dusty. c. Shower cubicle was small and dark. d. No kettle, I had to ask staff to provide (free) hot drinking water every day. e. No air conditioning. Weather was cool during my stay, so was fine for me. e. Reception closed at every mid-night

Such a great room”
I am on a honeymoon trip. I think this hotel is under rated. The room are spacious, clean, toilet are neat and they even got a locker. They got a small open garden before entering the room after you pass the reception. They even had room service for us. Nearby got a convenient store and some few restaurants. Overall, this hotel is great and I would recommend to my friends to book this hotel. =)

Not refundable”
I book a room for one night as I prepared to transfer via Paris Lyon Station. However I found it is still three stations away and is a little too far from the Paris Lyon. But as it is nonrefundable and that means I waste! I have no idea why it is nonrefundable as other hotels only charge certain proportion of room fee.

My flight was delay about 14 hour and we had to check in around midnite. but the staff is friendly to assist. We just email to pre alert them before our departure. Oh, their staff is kind enough to help us to take the luggage to the room, foc.

Friendly staff, nice location”
I stayed for 6 days. This hotel is only 2-3min from the metro station which is very convenient. Fran prix, a super market and laundry is near as well. The staff was really nice. They let me use the microwave oven and kettle when I wanted to have frozen food and tea. Free Wifi was helpful too. The wall is too thin that I could hear all the noise from the next door and hallway. Towels are cleaned only once in 2 days. No elevator. Although I think it worth the price.

Budget room near the metro”
Security is good in the area.There is a metro nearby just. 3minute walk. There is also a good italian and french restaurant nearby, also a supermarket. The hotel provides free wifi. The staff were really friendly and helpful by advising how we can go around. They also assisted us with taxi pick up going back to the airport. The hotel room has good working heaters. Small room but it was ok.

Near Metro but too noisy”
Opposite the hotel is having construction work. it is too noisy. No lift provide in the hotel. We wear given a room in 3rd floor where we have to carry our heavy luggage all the way up. No air condition in the room, and it is too noisy when we open the window.

nice neighbourbood away from the crowds but its well within walking distance to metro and rer which are well connected to the sights. great bakery across the street. no lift - challenging if you have big luggages. staff is helpful.

"awful place to sleep" ”
No lift,narrow steep stairs impossible to access with luggage, a rat hole, stinking cigarettes, broken hair dryer, scarce complimentary shower and soaps, awful service, rude staff, no water provided in the room or anywhere else in the hotel, no fridge. MORAL: We feel like we should ask the money back!

The hotel was not a surprise. The room was clean and nice. We had a tiny room but it was absolutely perfect for us. The staff was kind and helpful. I think this hotel is perfect if you want to visit the city and have some fun in the night cause the destination is good. The most important metro lines are near. We loved it:)

A very pleasant spot”
We liked the location, in Vincennes- a nice ordinary Paris suburb that had everything you need and is on Line 1 to get to central Paris. The hotel tiny but comfortable, nice little breakfast room. No lift. They put us in a room that had no wardrobe, or cupboard space but changed us to one that did when we asked. (Eight weeks on the road one has suitcases!) Netter brasserie nearby was excellent. A nice big outdoor market on Cours de Vincennes. Would recommend.
