Conveniently located, near the two markets, near the river, Lily the Home Hotel (a new building of 6 months of age) is the best deal in Hsipaw. Lily is still here, and it is obvious that she likes customers. His son, who runs the hotel now, is in the same mood ! Staff very kind and helpful with informations, treks. Three Nights in Hsipaw”
Lily the home was our favorite place to stay in Myanmar. it is centrally located in Hsipaw, walking distance from most of the town. Lily can arrange onward travel and guides for sightseeing or trekking. She is there when you return to ask about your day, and to answer questions you might have. It's like having a laughing, ever-smiling mom when you get home. Rooms are simple, but have good hot water, internet, and great electric outlets. There is an outdoor area, with coffee and tea available, for chatting with other travelers. The hotel just has a great atmosphere.

best breakfast in Myanmar yet!”
Lily the Home is a great choice for a stay in Hsipaw. Very new, clean and comfortable rooms and environment. Great breakfast with choices of Myanmar and western foods. Lily and her family on front desk were very helpful and accommodating giving advice about local area and arranging trips and onward travel and accommodation. One thing to comment on was that money for trips was paid to the hotel and not directly to the homeowner/guide etc, so wonder how much of Monet we pay goes to them.

A lovely place”
Lily was lovely, they picked us up at the train station at 11pm, it was 8 hours late! The hotel is quite new and very clean. The room was spacious and had a big bathroom. Mini fridge, TV, safe, aircon, towels and toiletries. Really comfy beds with big pillows. Free water. Restaurant was on the rooftop with lovely views over Hsipaw. Breakfast had a good selection of breads, eggs, rice, noodles, potatoes, tomatoes and good pancakes! She rented us bikes at 2000K a day and gave us a map to which she added loads more things to see, restaurants and cycle routes. She also booked our onward bus which is very convenient as it picks you up at the hotel and drops you where you want to go. Stayed 3 nights in the end.

Friendly, very clean and good location”
We arrived to Hsipaw after a train journey of 12 hours. Once we got off and were planning to look for transport, I suddenly saw my name on a piece of paper. It appeared that Lily the Home waits for the people who have booked with them at the station...amazing surprise:) The room was spacious and extremely clean. The owner lady was very sweet and friendly. The rest of the staff was very friendly too. We got a map with the most important things to see in town, which was also a nice touch. The breakfast was good and you could ask for local breakfast - sticky noodles. There is an extention of the hotel being built next to the hotel, but the noice did not bother us at all.

A really nice place for the independent traveler”
You get used to a certain level of place when you stay in backpacker places. Lily the Home way exceeds those standards. The room was excellent - the a/c worked while a champ, the bathroom was spotless, shower was good, room had two double beds. No dodgy electrical stuff, painted since 2005. I swear I felt as if I was in a decent motel in the U.S., except no tv. At a good Myanmar backpacker price. Staff was helpful; right in the middle of town. Very good.

Great stay at Hotel Lily the Home ”
We enjoyed staying at Hotel Lily the Home. We stayed in a budget room at the back of the property which was clean and bright. The breakfast were great, lots of choice and the view was lovely on the roof terrace looking out over Hsipaw. The hotel was also kind enough to hold our bags whilst we went on an overnight trek.

The best accommodation in Hsipaw. ”
an outstanding job in making you feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The garden was an excellent place to relax after a long day. I organised my trek and bus tickets from here. The trek was amazing and the guides all speak great English and are very knowledgeable. I met several people who stayed at other guesthouses in Hsipaw but changed to Lily's after seeing the difference. As cheap if not cheaper than the other guesthouses. There is no comparison, it's definitely the best accommodation in town.

Favorite hotel in favorite town.”
I've stayed at this hotel on many occasions. Very friendly and helpful owners. Rooms are great as is the breakfast. Hotel Lily The Home really is an appropriate name because although this is a Hotel there is a real homelike feel to the place. One of the owners is a helpful and kind doctor. His wife lily is one of the most hospitable people I have ever met.

A perfect stay”
We got a room in the new wing and it was very new and clean, exactly like the photos shown in Agoda. Before stepping out for some sight-seeing, Lily sat us down personally to go thru the places of interests and how to go with a map. When asked where to buy thanakha, Lily actually gifted us with a tub! Not just Lily, all hotel staff are friendly, and we are always greeted with a smile. We do not have trouble communicating in English.

Fantastic hotel”
I can't fault this hotel. We paid for a basic room but were put in a superior which was a nice bonus. I was ill during the trip which meant we had to stay an extra night, our room was initially booked out but they changed things around so I didn't have to move rooms. It was also my birthday during the stay and they kindly arranged for a cake. Lily the owner and her son and daughter in law are lovely and extremely helpful, they can arrange transport, treks, and provide a free map and helpful tips on the best sights. Our trek was excellent we only did one day but I would recommend two. Our guide was great - he spoke great English and was full of great anecdotes. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable”
Hotel Lily has everything I want. They sent someone to pick me up at the train station which is really nice. The room and the bathroom were new and clean. could see beautiful sunset through my windows. The breakfast on the rooftop was quite impressive with choices of local or western food. love the view there. The hotel is in a good location, close to the market and easy to try Shan street food. you can rent the bike from the hotel. it's 2,000 kyats per day and you can bike to the Palace or the Hill to see the sunset. they organize the tour too but I didn't have enough time to do that. I stayed at hostels most of the time in Myanmar but stayed here after 11 hour train ride from Mandalay. it's not cheap though. if you are looking for a peaceful place with a good double bed to relax after a long trip, Lily's is a perfect place.
